Spot on timing with that Larson cartoon. :BigApplause:
My favorite part of the chicken is the tenderloins which is the filet mignon of the bird and I go to Huey Magoo's for that delicacy. |
They use a chemical solvent to remove the bones.

Not wings, and off-topic a bit, we went to Huey Maggoos today. They had a Facebook BoGO. Free 5 piece chick finger meal when buying one with a large drink.
Went there at 12:30 today, only a few others there and a few more came in when we were leaving. Hmm not busy at all, harbinger!??? Well in our case we won’t be back. Everything was extremely salty, even the breading on the chicken. We also tried the grilled chick but that was very salty too. We should have asked for no salt fries… the regular were good, but… salty. I heard they they are Southern chicken. Whatever. I was going to mention our “displeasure” to the clerk but 3 guys just came in to order and he was busy. Personally I feel that clock may be tickin’ on HM. Anyone really like them?!!! |
Boneless wings
I have seen a lot of advertising lately about boneless chicken wings. I could not fathom how that could be! So I went to a chicken hatchery and talked with the head chicken hatcher. He said the chickens use their wings to flutter so if they were boneless they could not flutter. Fluttering enables them to move faster and also ventilate their bodies.
He too admitted seeing these false advertisements. He could not understand why the government condoned such a thing. He did say that he had seen deformed chickens with no bones in their wings and they usually keep them in a ventilated room as they could not flutter. But their quantity is not enough to feed a nation. Have any of you wondered about this conundrum?:cus:
|
I.
believe boneless wings are on the appetizer menu at Applebee's. De- boned chicken re-shaped. |
