Default Buy Only Cage-Free Peeps!

Peeps, from the beginning of their brief existences, are forced to share
small cardboard and cellophane box cages so cramped that the peeps
could not walk around, stand, or even flap their wings, even if they
weren’t inanimate. And after spending their relatively short shelf-life
sitting in their own sugar, they are doomed to the cruel fate of
having their heads bitten off on Easter Morning.

What's up? I didn't even suggest that people shouldn't walk their peeps at the town centers!

Ok, ok... not another peep about that out of me! The Villages Florida

I mean, don't get me started talking about (real) chickens being cage-free.

Here I go again. Food Inc.

Thank you for explaining. But please keep this thread as I intended it to be when I began it, humorus, about (sugar) peeps and as the section I put it in says... "Just For Fun!" If you must get started or if anyone wants to have a serious discussion about "real" chickens, then I ask that it please be taken back to the above thread or start a new one!

K9, you go Girl!

Easter is a sad time of the year for fuzzy chicks that are purchased for kids for Easter morning and then discarded. I know this is supposed to be a funny thread about candy. But we're all allowed to state our opinions, right? That is what makes TOTV so great.

The above is my previous post and I in no way said that anyone is not allowed to state their opinions... just that changing the very nature of the thread I started was not the appropriate way to do so and "keep TOTV great!" Could I have made myself any clearer and still stayed nice about it??? Anyway, that's all I'll say about this... for now!

I personally haven't seen any baby chicks for sale since I was a baby chick.
