My first car was a '53 Dodge Coronet with Fluid Drive - somewhat a semi-automatic with a clutch. Great car for learning how to drive a stick - couldn't stall it! Bought it for $50 bucks from a neighbor.......and got into an accident with it the first time I took it out. Bummer. A lot of hammer-and-dolly work, some (read: 'a bunch of') bondo, and an all-over paint job "ala brush" :shocked: compliments of my dad and I was back in business again!

You just jogged my memory. My dad had a 1961 Rambler Classic with the lighted push button transmission...and yes fully reclining front seats.
