Overall a good post. But, mass shootings can not be attributed to cell phone usage and the internet. Need to look to Australia for solutions to that one.

Okay.. Let's make the US an island, with a strict immigration policy...

P.S. There are more guns in Australia now than before their "buyback" (read: confiscation)...

That’s why I love old cars that don’t have any computer chips in them. In my humble opinion the world was a much simpler and better place before cell phones and the internet. Kids actually went outside and did stuff like climb a tree. And with no social media, mental health issues were way less and mass shootings were few and far between. Sometimes change is not a good thing.

Lets dive into the data:

Gun ownership per household in Australia has fallen 75%

The proportion of Australians who hold a gun licence has fallen by 48 percent since 1997.

The homes that already have guns are buying more guns and now have 4 guns per licensed owner

“In the wake of John Howard’s gun reforms, the risk of an Australian dying by gunshot quickly fell by more than half – and it’s stayed that low for 25 years

New gun ownership figures revealed 25 years on from Port Arthur - The University of Sydney
