The Villages expansion. I hope I live to see the day when folks no longer hike the Appalachian Trail, but rather Buena Vista Blvd.

Wisteria. My wife and I planted a wisteria plant trained to be a self-supporting (if very soft-wooded) tree. It blossomed, was gorgeous, then grew like crazy. Every couple of weeks I had to trim off a garbage can full of branches and leaves or it would be so top-heavy it would fall over. Because of the constant trimming, it stopped growing flowers. I finally gave up and dug it out, roots and all. Except that now, nearly 4 years after having dug it out, it still have shoots constantly trying to erupt from the ground. It makes some pretty flowers that smell very pleasant (much like grape Koolaid) but its an unstoppable growing machine that will cover everything in its path and can't be killed.

I integrated the word unkillable in vocab while reading "henderson the Rain King" by Saul Bellow. The read is a delightful frolic of fancy. Here is a free epub. If anyone wants to read it.
