National Park Service PSA: "Don’t push your slower friends in front of bears".

But I guess if it's an acquaintance, someone you don't know, or someone who may have you in their will, it's open for discussion? I just thought this was unusual.
I might have said "Don't push anyone in front of a bear"

Actually, in Alaska we carry guns for bear protection, even in the National Parks. Methodolgy: when being chased by a bear, shoot the friend running ahead of you; you are no longer the bear’s focus
