Loving Husband..
A man and his ever-nagging wife, went on vacation to Jerusalem..While they were there the wife passed away..The undertakes told the husband, "You can have her shipped home for $5,000.00, or you can bury her here, in the Holy Land, for $150.00..
The man thought about it and told him he would just have her shipped home..The undertaker asked, "Why would you spend $5,000.00 to ship your wife home, when it would be wonderful to be buried here and you would spend only $150.00?" The man replied, "Long ago a man died here, was buried here, and three days later He rose from the dead..I just can't take that chance..

Re: Loving Husband..
You're all too funny...
Henny Youngman was a great and funny comedian, always on Ed Sullivan show and was the master of the short, one liner jokes..... "now take my wife...please!!" Silly but funny. Donna, you might be just a tad too young to know him. Sorry to high jack this thread but I was answering a question or 2. Kathie  shy and admitting to being young.....NOT!!

Re: Loving Husband..
Kathy,
I thought some comedian named Jack Benney (just read about him, before my time LOL) used the "take my wife, please" line, was that Henney Youngman? LOL |

Re: Loving Husband..
Hey Kathi, sorry to say but I remember Henny Youngman. I'm old. In fact, I say him on the bill with Jerry Vale at the Copa in New York when I was about 21. Yes, take my wife please! And he always had a violin with him but never played it or just a little between jokes. Benny had one too, but tried to play it, same song all the time. He also was hilarious! So we can call Donna, Henny now!
