About the amount we currently have in canandaigua,ny....drove down 5 & 20 from Geneva to Canandaigua last night in a white out....worse ever. It was hilly, icey, zero visibiability, had flashers on,couldn't pull over, because couldn't see the side of the road.....yeah, can't wait to get back to TV!😊

Definitely not!!!!! 😎

What a completely uninformed opinion. That might be true for you (people up north are 0% preoccupied with you) which isn't surprising based on your comment. I guess you didn't realize MILLIONS of people from "up north" including "SNOWBIRDS" come south every year for as long as possible (1 week to 4 months) because they are preoccupied with the south and can't wait to get here. I live up north and can confirm they are preoccupied with the south. I have lots of friends that constantly ask me about my time in Florida. Meanwhile, I don't recall a native southerner ever being curious about life up north.

So, do you root for the Bucs or Ravens??? My nephew(NJ) played HS football against Flacco.

Sorry, I never felt that way or EVEN feel that other people feel that way. But, maybe you are right and I am off-base about that. It seems that it would be hard to prove which is correct?

I have to disagree with you on that one. In 2010 when this was my home in Baltimore, I couldn't wait to move to Florida and I did in 2011.

Baltimore seemed to me to be a "tough town" to live in even in the summer. Maybe it improved from what I remember?

Now, that is a real tough day - hopefully not a whole tough life?

Do you live in Geneva or Canidagua?

It's a blue collar town, but we love our O's and Ravens. 40 miles from Fedex Field and the Redskins, a 100 miles from Philly and the Eagles and a lot of Steelers fans always looking for work in Maryland and yet, since the Ravens started in 1996 they have sold out their 71,000 seats to every game. A lot of cities can't say that.

Thanks, and that was a great picture. I remember Baltimore from the 60s as being the # 1 crime city. Maybe I am remembering it wrong and maybe it changed when you were there.

I can honestly say that the coldest, snowiest winter in northern Ohio along Lake Erie, I never thought about the people in Florida. And in central Michigan, cold weather started in August and ran until June. We lived there. I remember the company that moved us asked why we would want to live in a place that had only 2 seasons, winter and July.

I lived in St. Petersburg in the 60s, my parents left Baltimore when I was nine years old. However, I moved back when I was 39. A lot of yuppies have moved to the city and live there because of the night life, the Inner Harbor, Johns Hopkins Hospital or Johns Hopkins University (they're located about 5 miles apart). Most older folks have gone to the suburbs.

If you go to one of the sports games, O's or Ravens, the Inner Harbor or the bar district known as Fells Point, you'll probably be OK. Anywhere else, keep alert, even JH Hospital is in a bad area. Fells Point reminds me of Savannah Riverfront.
