Re: Is she turning clockwise or counterclockwise?? Look again are you sure??
I found this article in the Daily Telegraph
Article from: AAP * October 05, 2007 12:00am The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise? If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa. Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it. LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS uses logic detail oriented facts rule words and language present and past math and science can comprehend knowing acknowledges order/pattern perception knows object name reality based forms strategies practical safe RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS uses feeling "big picture" oriented imagination rules symbols and images present and future philosophy & religion can "get it" (i.e. meaning) believes appreciates spatial perception knows object function fantasy based presents possibilities impetuous risk taking So this morning I only saw her as clockwise and this PM only as anti clockwise. I'll have to figure that out. |
Re: Is she turning clockwise or counterclockwise?? Look again are you sure??
So, what does it mean if you see her going clockwise for 5 revolutions and counterclockwise for 5 revolutions and then back to clockwise for 5 and back to ...?
It would seem that there should be some breast jiggle but that ain't happenin. I think I know why Handie picked this to show left/right brain, though. |
Re: Is she turning clockwise or counterclockwise?? Look again are you sure??
Not sure, Red. I'm looking at her again this AM and can't make her go counterclockwise. I keep looking away and she's still clockwise. Last night she would only go counterclockwise.
OMGosg, she just did it!! She went counter 3x. Cool. Both sides of my brain are starting to kick in. |
Re: Is she turning clockwise or counterclockwise?? Look again are you sure??
I find if I stare at her feet (not something Handie would do) she changes directions more readily. When she pivots on her left she goes clockwise; when she pivots on her right foot she goes CCW.
Strange..... |
Re: Is she turning clockwise or counterclockwise?? Look again are you sure??
Hah!! O7, you know Handi!! I tried the feet thing. It doesn't work for me..at this moment.

Re: Is she turning clockwise or counterclockwise?? Look again are you sure??
This visual test seems to be of Australian origin. Funny thing is that from what is on the web about it, two people in the same room looking at it at the same time will see the woman going in different directions??? http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/stor...005375,00.html

Re: Is she turning clockwise or counterclockwise?? Look again are you sure??
:o OK, so I'm hopeless. I only see her going clockwise and never counter clockwise. I have seen her do the splits though. What does that mean? :dontknow:
Anyone . . . anyone . . . |
Re: Is she turning clockwise or counterclockwise?? Look again are you sure??
Seems there's not much science behind this test but it is interesting.

She changes directions for me. What's her name? She looks just like a girl I met in Amsterdam several year ago, and if I remember correctly, she could move really well too.

Re: Is she turning clockwise or counterclockwise?? Look again are you sure??
This is WEIRD!!! The left brain just started working again. Must be the baybreeze I drank! Guess I'll have to have one every day to ward of left brain death! woohooooo.
