So, which question wasn't answered? lol

(And I never quite forgave Bob Keeshun for taking away my beloved Clarabelle and turning into Cpt. Kangaroo. I still vividly remember Clarabelle struggling to say good-bye on the last episode of Howdy Doody and my heartbroken tears.)

Capt . Kangaroo was the mssing answer. But it was already answered. A shame we can't be trivia partners

In 1949, we used to go down the block to watch Howdy Doody at a kid's house that had the only TV in the neighborhood. Sat there watching the Indian station signal for a half an hour (it was the only thing on TV) until Howdy came on at 6 PM and after Howdy the Indian signal came back on - no more TV.

"It ain't over til the fat lady sings"

Who was the fat lady?

What did she sing?

What was over?
