In high school for 2 years I dated a girl who's mom was in love with Lawrence Welk. Her dream date was to dance the Polka with Lawrence. This was during the era of the Allman Brothers, Grateful Dean and The Band. I felt sorry for her on the inside but on the outside I would look at the screen, raise my eyebrows and agree that he sure was something. So I retire and plan a trip to the west coast including a stay at the Lawrence Welk Resort in Escondido, Cali. I swore my immediate family to secrecy because I knew the abuse I would get if my sibs found out. [btw, it was a nice place, the price was right, but I felt like I let Crosby down and cut my hair---and he knows it]
My mother also loved the Lawrence Welk show and watched it until she died. Those were NOTHING but kinder gentler times. I feel like my parents now when I complain about the trash on TV.

What a BrownNoser I was because I NOTHING but watched Lawrence and the Lennon a Sister's with my Nana. A One A Two And A Three Boys. Memory is a little foggy but I think those were the words. Great memories, Great times, terrible music. I liked Ozzie, Nana didn't. NOTHING doing.

You will not be able to pry that piece of NOTHING from my cold, clammy hands.

However, then again, how much are you offering? Maybe a free dinner?

Okay, on that note, I'll let you know when she's NOTHING but ready for the heap! Lol

I've got multiple vehicles to offer you for a reduced price. Just found out hubby's 1960 Corvette is worth more than we thought so I guess she is not for sale. We may end up bringing her to TV after all. I call her NOTHING but Christine because she scares me. I hope W and hubby don't end up trying to drag race down Morse Blvd - that could be NOTHING but big trouble.

That's what I hear. I've been hounding him for years to sell it because it just sits in our garage taking up space. But like he said where better to actually get use out of it than TV. So I've finally NOTHING but relented. Not that I usually win in the end anyway. Maybe it will give the guys a reason to connect at some time.

My husband was so excited the first year we were here and he took the car down to Brownwood and took a picture of it with the Christmas tree in the background. He sent it to our Camaro club friends up north and said "mine's still out" NOTHING like rubbing it in. There are so many Corvettes down here that there are 2 big clubs. You just need a 2 or more car garage.

Yes, and right now that is NOTHING but the problem. We'll see how that works out.
