Why do my doctor appointments always wind up being scheduled on beautiful days and then there is nothing scheduled on those gloomy, rainy days like today?

I was 7 miles into a 14-mile trip to get to Shooters World. That would be NOTHING but in the Golf Cart. It was exciting, to say the least. The main thing is To Keep Your Powder Dry! I got to see many of the trouble spots that I often read about on TOTV'S. OOOOOOhhhhhhh Baby, I made it through unscathed. I must say that the driving down yonder is a little bit more tension-filled and the personnel are slightly more high strung and I only saw 2 Purple Golf Cart with no damage. It was coming down in BUCKETS. Cart Paths Flooded Out! A nice ride.

I would not know where to safely put my rifle on such a ride. Nucky. And not for NOTHING. Maybe you are renting the weapon up there? It has a gun case, of course. Sold most of my guns in Santa Rosa, CA as I was no longer using them and needed the money.

Did have that one all through my journey across Texas in 1996 and many other states but never felt the need to shoot it. I drove from the wine country in CA down to near LA via Highway 1 and then across to the Tampa area but making many detours in 1996. Like the Grand Canyon; the Meteor Crater; Austin, Texas; the USS Alabama and USS Drum in Mobile; etc. Always just left it in the trunk in its case.

Like I would carry it if I were going to Shooter's World.

Its NOTHING but more fun than a Barrel Full Of Monkeys. I think the Ventilation System is the big Game Changer for me. The Ranges we went to in N.J. & Pennsy would leave you with that gunpowder taste because of poor ventilation and didn't really have the proper places or material to clean up with. They have some kind of hand cleaner, it may be NOTHING special that gets the smell off your hands after shooting for a couple of hours. I didn't bother to ask what it was.

Whatever you do don't walk in there with a gun that isn't unloaded and in a proper carrying case. Safety is their #1 Job.

At our range they've even gone to running your ammo under a magnet to make sure it's not steel cored. Too many Rambo's going in there with NOTHING but penetrator ammo. :ohdear:

After it's already 6 or 7 to zero with a lot more goals to come, a low-key fist bump/high-five or pat on the back...is a lot classier IMHO.

My rifle is almost always unloaded and not for NOTHING. But I always treat it like it is loaded.

Do not really like the smell of Hoppe's Gun Oil nor especially of gunpowder.

You know NOTHING, I mean Something, today I was thinking back to the beginning of the start of our new life in Florida and how shook up we were each time the heavens opened up on us. We were really shaken up. Now we take the weather in stride. Safety First when possible. Today was Historic in The Historic Section for about an hour. If the rain is loud enough to wake me up that's really something!

I love it here No Matter What. The 15 mile ride each way To Shooters World helped with sleeping well last night. Later Gators.
