Told my husband to get the number of the bus that hit me but I have good drugs and they tell me I'll feel better in a couple of days. I really need to do NOTHING for a while.

I don't want this to scare you but when I had my gallbladder removed they evidently missed a stone. I ended up getting pancreatitis and spent a month in the hospital..

Hoping for NOTHING but a quick recovery for you.

Be ready to modify your diet for awhile. Greasy foods will not be your friend for quite awhile. Breakfast sausage and bacon would do NOTHING but send me running... :eek:

Holy Flying Scalpals Robin! Same day surgery for getting your gizzard removed. I told you my world was small. One day gizzard, two days for hip replacements, appointments to delivery a child. Amazing stuff.

Thanks everyone for all of the wonderful wishes (and scary thoughts K) Everyone said oh its NOTHING, you'll be in and out no big deal. They kind of forgot to mention the it will hurt like a witch part. They did send me home with some good drugs and it is starting to ease up a bit. I've gotten up a to walk around a little and have some water since I am so thirsty and have been in bed pretty much since I got home. You guys are just the best.

Reading your posts brings back memories. You're so right, they make a big deal about not having to cut you wide open but minimalize the fact that they still pulled your innards out and it's gonna hurt like a son of a gun. Hope each day gets better for you and you are back to your old self (minus a part) in no time.

Aren't these NOTHING brother's the best? They might act like the little rascals sometimes, well quite often, but if you want to see guys with big hearts all you have to do is come to NOTHINGVILLE.

Rest, fluids, and lots of NOTHING, along with pain meds prn would be my Rx for you. Lots of prayers for a quick and complete recovery with no complications would be NOTHING but good to throw in too.

It's Friday, July 6th, everyone. I'm adding the date in because I'm already beginning to see how easy it is to lose track of time being down here! Yesterday went by like a flash - never even looked at the time of day until almost 5pm.

Since nobody caught this yet, I'm going to add it's going to be NOTHING but another wonderful day in The Villages!

I feel much better this morning, took 2 of the pain meds last night and then the pain started to ease. This morning just dull aches and very woozy head. NOTHING I would want to do again so thankfully only have one. I am hoping to keep the rest of my parts.

You got away with a NOTHING Violation for 23 minutes? I need to start getting up earlier.. lol
