For more NOTHING, Nucky?

I Dunno! Just you know, Waiting for NOTHING inparticular!

Have you ever found the perfect spot to just sit and think about the good things and people in life? Instead of thinking about the garbage on the news from the time the eyes open each day?? It's not an easy habit, giving up the news but I think I likes it a little. I have to get back to waiting for NOTHING.

I have a Caper that I'm trying to pull off now to surprise my wife. I have a 50/50 chance that it will work. I'll let yous know when I find NOTHING out! :ohdear:

NOTHING but a drawing I did of a woman I knew in the 1980s.

I went with her to see Amadeus in downtown SF, then crossed a bridge to Richmond to meet her father who had been attacked while teaching in a high school there, and then headed to Oakland to an apartment for Thanksgiving with about 10 of the members of the Oakland Chorus. We were the only straight couple there. My date was in the Oakland Chorus and had quite a nice singing voice.

Happy birthday Andrew Lincoln: The Walking Dead family's celebration

NOTHING but Happy Birthday to one of my favorite Walking Dead actors-- Andrew Lincoln. I hope his character makes a quick come-back.

I am more of a Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Bucs fan.

That NOTHING but seems to be the case.

That lady in the drawing I did was quite nice but I was chasing a skinny blonde who worked at Information Access Company (IAC) in a different department from me. She had been dating a lawyer and my plan was to get into Stanford Law School and start wooing her. I did not get into Stanford Law and the highest ranked law school-- around 17th in 1986--was the U of MN Law School. So I ended up going there and bumping into another skinny blonde who looked just like a different woman from IAC who was in the marketing department and who would go to law and public library conventions around the country. Bumped into the marketing lady in SF in 1992 and before that had visited a little with the law indexers who were at the law library convention in Reno, Nevada in 1989 at the convention there that summer. This was a few weeks after I had graduated from the U of MN Law School in May 1989.

The U of MN law school student that looked just like the marketing IAC employee ended up in San Francisco as well. She is one of the top rated immigration lawyers on the West Coast. She organized some aspects of the U of MN Law School Class of 1989 30th Re-Union a few months ago held in Minneapolis. I did not go but thought about going quite a lot.

The U of MN is still a great law school. Ranked around 20th right now.

Chasing "skinny blondes?"

Library intrigue?

Law school?

You should nothing but...write a best-selling book.

Well I do not know if it will be best-selling. Some will NOTHING but not believe some of my stories even with quite a lot of documentation. I still do not believe some of what happened to me and I lived through it. Fact is often stranger than fiction.

Skinny blondes play a big part even if I have dated women of just about every color and size. One of my favorites still is a very cute Chinese-American lady-- married the last I looked -- who is a Children's Librarian in the Los Angeles, CA area. Friend from the U of Denver Graduate School of Librarianship and Information Management. She was probably the Class of late 1984. I graduated in May of 1984 from there. We were just going out as friends as she had a very serious boyfriend at the time. She is still with him.
