Bought a book at Walmart yesterday and it was NOTHING but $22.74. Made my day because of the tome's title and the numbers which may or may not mean anything. One of the Harry Potter books was the same price after discounts if my memory serves and I bought that in Tampa at Books-a-Million.

The woman counting the coming-and-going people did have a nice smile for me, I think, when I was walking with my cart and the book which she could see through the plastic bag.

I did look for the book last week when it came out at Walmart but did not see a copy but did buy The Lincoln Conspiracy by Brad Meltzer with John Mensch instead.

He was a big help in various telephone calls to me after I had written him about problems I was having with finding work when I was also pushing the 224 613 Project. Judge Lane had been a bridge partner with his wife at my parents' home in Reno, Nevada. And he had been on the prosecution team in the murder of Michelle Mitchell.

Judge Lane gave me pointers about whom to contact.

Had so much fun watching the first episode of the Fifth Season of Castle. And not for NOTHING.
