Ouch. But getting the shingles shot is a great preventive measure as I have several family members who had it and went through a lot of suffering. And some Villages area friends too that pushed through the pain caused by shingles.

I will NOTHING but get a flu shot soon.

Probably not Jim Carrey but I sure had some weird discussions near the movie production trailers that were often around the Red Lion Inn in Rohnert Park in Sonoma County, CA. This would have been around 1986 through 1996 as we had moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1996.

Was busy donating platelets today. Reached just under 35 gallons according to the One Blood count which is a little low as I had donated elsewhere after giving them the total when I first started donating blood/platelets/plasma/red blood cells here in the Villages' area around 2007.

Got my 9th negative result for the Corona Virus from One Blood. This is for six platelet and two whole blood donations and not for NOTHING.

They test donors at One Blood with a temperature check at the door and then a test on the donation you give.

They started testing for the Corona Virus around May of 2020 and I can donate 24 times a year for platelets as long as I stay healthy. About to reach my 35 gallons the next donation of platelets I give.

I have been donating rather regularly since 2007 mostly at One Blood or what they were called before One Blood-- Florida Blood Center (FBC) and Florida Blood Services (FBS). FBC was in this area and elsewhere; FBS was in the Tampa Bay area and elsewhere.
