I had my coat from when I lived in Minneapolis on today when getting the mail. It withstood temperatures of maybe -60 windchill at times and I was still a little cold. But there were two ladies at the mail center who did not have a whole lot on-- shorts and t-shirts and probably a mother and her teen daughter-- and they told the woman also there getting her mail that this was NOTHING because they were from the Twin Cities.

That coat got me through the Halloween blizzard of 1991 in Minneapolis. I flew back to Rohnert Park, CA soon after that and not for NOTHING. 1991 Halloween blizzard - Wikipedia
