This was very good and not for NOTHING.
I will be glad when this Friday the Thirteenth is over. $100 poorer but probably no wiser. I will wait and see though. It might work itself out but I kind of doubt it. I had rushed over to a local store to replenish my Green Dot account after a subscription to National Geographic they billed me for put me at less than ten cents in the account. I put some more in it but not as much as I had hoped due to miscommunication and maybe something else. Not sure. Just to say that I lost $100 in my hurry to get something into the account and being preoccupied with a lot of other stuff this morning and very early afternoon. 12:03 PM EST to be exact. Kind of parr for the course.

I did fill out the Survey attached to the store receipt and gave them a very poor evaluation. If you give a cashier $250 and have only a $152.73 tab you would expect some money back and not to fork over that $3.00. Not keep the $100 for themselves or whomever. NOTHING but upsetting.
I know I should have stuck up for myself right then at the store but had been addled by the less than ten cents in the Green Dot account and my hurry to get something into it. And I did not realize what had happened until I was on my way home. And I realized it was my word against hers right then. Was there extra money in their Friday take? Does a store video camera cover the cash register? How about whether I had 5 $50s when I handed over the money to the cashier? |
