There were some grim events but it was not at all unhappy. Do recall that my first law librarian convention was in the Summer of 1989 in Reno, Nevada and I felt the presence of many of my University of Nevada, Reno Philosophy professors especially since the wife of one of these was a law librarian. The second law librarian convention was in Minneapolis and the third in New Orleans which was NOTHING but very eventful. The last I went to was in San Francisco in 1992. I lived an hour's drive north of there in Rohnert Park. The house was across a golf course hole from where there were often movie trailers parking while their users were making movies in the Sonoma/Napa/Marin County area in Northern CA. This was maybe 200 feet away from our backdoor.
