My heart NOTHING but goes out to the people in Buffalo, NY. I have met a lot of people here in the Villages from that area.

I flew there at the U of MN Law Library's expense in 1989 to meet along with my boss people at the SUNY-Buffalo Law Library. I was cataloging all the computer files on WESTLAW while a woman at SUNY was doing the same for LEXIS. This was so we were doing the same things to the computer file entries so that a library user anywhere in the country could look at the information we put together about each computer file on WESTLAW and LEXIS.

West Publishing Company was based in the Twin Cities so they had their input as well.

Flew to Reno, Nevada again at the U of MN Law Library's expense as well as stayed at a large hotel/casino to meet with fellow law librarians. This was in the Summer of 1989 just after I had graduated from law school.

Think I ran into two of my U of Nevada, Reno philosophy professors there that trip.
