I know your post was probably just something you pulled out of.....the air......and not meant for me personally, but I've really been taking the time to listen and think about people's words lately. Right now, it appears that I am at that very crossroad in my life. Change is something I rarely cower from, but when it affects others I struggle. I'm used to being the fixer, the giver, and rarely expect much from others. That's what I get for always striving to be independent. It can be a good thing, but when taken to extremes, like anything else, it can also do harm to myself and others.
Another good saying I heard from a dear friend recently was to quit trying to fix things and start realizing. So now realizing has become my mantra to help me to deal with the possible changes by bringing to light truth first, then making decisions based on that and not emotion or putting yet another temporary fix on a situation. Life is NOTHING but too short to waste at this point.
Sorry to bore you all this fine morning. Any day we wake up is a good day, right? I'll try not to make NOTHING a downer or too much like "Dear Diary" - lol. That's why I was hesitating yesterday to continue posting here, but I value your (all of my NOTHING buddies) wisdom and encouragement. And the laughs on here is what often gets me through the day so please carry on. I mean really......CARRY ON :pepper2: :laugh:

Ever hear of the Serenity Prayer? NOTHING but words to live by..
God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
As it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
If I surrender to His Will;
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life
And supremely happy with Him
Forever and ever in the next.
Amen.
