Hi all,

I am exhausted (details to follow) and trying to catch up on only 2-3 days of nothing has only added to it. I have an early flight tomorrow and I can't wait to get back to my honey bunny and The Villages.

The trip has been quite productive but emotionally grueling and I am jumping out of my skin. I should be "normal" -- whatever that means -- by tomorrow evening.

I'm even too tired to try to make any jokes about nudists. Go away for just a couple of days and you miss all the fun. So good night. See y'all on the other side tomorrow.

BK001 05-17-2019 09:30 PM

Ok maybe nothing but a short one but I have to run over to that other thread to post it!

699. :clap2:

303, 791 NOTHING views as of 8:55 AM EST 5/18/2019.

303, 167 is from yesterday's tally at 8:55 AM EST.

624 is our result. Not bad; not good.

Taltarzac725 05-18-2019 12:19 PM

No word on the hare which is probably what was dropped off yesterday. I saw a rabbit on the multi-modal trail earlier this morning while doing stuff and it looked like it was only about 2 lbs.
The creature I saw was a lot bigger than that. The one left at the 10 acre dog park up CR 101-- Doggie Doo Run Run.

Some of the other NOTHINGs use it I believe. I know other TOTVers use it. I have been going there since November of 2006 when I went there when they were featuring an adopt-a-dog like event. Got the dog in January of 2007 and he liked it there. Lots of nice people there for the most part. There is an occasional problem person and/or dog or dogs though. Same as about anywhere.

The man then closed the hatch in the back got in his SUV or van and left. The rabbit had NOTHING but gone into the bushes near the porta-John.

"Weird" as I described what I had seen to one of the dog park employees about it.

I know they get dogs dropped off there and there are feral cats around but I have never seen a rabbit there since I started going in November of 2006. They opened in 2003.

I use a lot of the Villages' area dog parks as well as some of the fields that serve as one. Heard they are closing the one by Rio Grande pool to extend the air gun shed or something like that. But, I have never seen a rabbit around them. Rabbits are around the Villages' pools though and around our houses.

Doubt if the rabbit will be around long with all the hunting dog breeds around.

Probably NOTHING but grease. I tried to fix the Toyota Sierra van we had and made a thorough mess of it. Had to climb in the passenger door because the driver's door would not open.

Nucky 05-18-2019 04:44 PM

HA, I Can NOTHING but relate to the Obstacles that you guys just described. I got French Fried last night before going to sleep because I forgot to clean my CPAP machine and the commercial for the Cleaner says you could Die or end up with Jungle Fever Malaria and the Flu and Jock Itch and you know the way this goes.

My reply, Come On You Know, Yes Dear! You Are So Correct and So Much Smarter Than I'll Ever Be. But I'm Trying! :1rotfl::1rotfl:

Nothing but ecstatic to be back home. DH met me at Lake Sumter since I took the Villages Van from the airport. We stopped for lunch at the VKI Japanese Steak House on Old Mill Run. Really enjoyed everything we had -- the Chicken Katsu was phenomenal and the Steak Hibachi was very tasty. We will definitely go back.

Sat on the lanai last night watching the full moon and I was truly grateful to be living in this beautiful place.

Welcome back to Lynnhaven and not for NOTHING.

And Good Morning NOTHINGs. Last episode of Game of Thrones tonight. Am quite anxious to see what happens and who sits on the Iron Throne. Probably Jon Snow but we will see.

Nucky 05-19-2019 09:18 AM

NOTHING happening? Still in recovery from all the fresh air from the ride to Brownwood Last Night. It only took about 5 weeks to get it to happen. It was great and took about 55 minutes each way. It was the perfect day to do it, nice & cool.

Can you make that run on one tank of gas or did you have to stop at a NOTHING station?

Great Minds Think Alike. I filled up and have only used The Gas at The Villages Gas Station. We used NOTHING but less than a Quarter of a Tank. It was 41 miles round trip with a short side trip. With the front window up it would be a walk the park. With the window down, I feel like I've been beaten. I would say LSL is our limit from now on. That's a Hop, Skip, and NOTHING but a Jump from the Casa.

Welcome home BK, good job in New Jerky. Vietnamese? You really were missed! Smart Hubby.....Yes Dear! :mademyday: :1rotfl:

NOTHING but busy this morning so I will have to estimate the daily tally.

304, 526. 10:00 AM EST.
304, 491. 8:00 AM EST.

So I will have to estimate the 9:00 AM EST 5/19/2019

NOTHING count as half the numbers between the 8 and 10 o'clock. Which I get 17.5 of 35.

304, 508.5 or say 304, 509.

304, 509.
303, 791.

718. Not a bad number for the Preakness Stakes day. :MOJE_whot:

Yes the Villages Cart Store does have gas pumps on the side.

It is very hard to do NOTHING right now since the weather is so beautiful. We have been bopping around in our golf cart also.

Sure is NOTHING but beautiful in that neck of the woods where youallNOTHING heads live. What place in The Villages isn't beautiful? One area that hardly ever get a mention is the extreme North up towards Route 42. That is a Cart Ride that there is never a need for the GPS to come out.

I told Mrs. NUCKY the week we moved in that one day we would see the same things that we are in amazement about that day, about 3 years ago, that it would become Hum-Drum to us at some point. I'm Overcome with Gratefulness for the life we have here. It took a series of amazing events for us to be fortunate enough to be here. Some events good Some events not so good, we're here that's what counts.
One simple Cart ride to get rejuvenated. Crippled a little but its all worth it.

OK here comes trouble. Can't leave you alone there Tal. NOTHING going on over here. It's early though.

I just found out our oldest son went to a bachelor party in Austin Texas??? He is the Best Man for the Man getting Married. The guy is a lifetime friend of our family and the Wedding is in either August or September. How the hell am I gonna wiggle out of this one?

I don't really like the idea of these destination Bachelor & Bachelorette Parties. The expense and possible disastrous outcome are large. Many of the people who attended have children. Only one small problem. Nobody asked for my opinion so it all amounts to a pile of NOTHING. :blahblahblah:
