Too much of not NOTHING today for a nap.

Did get to watch all the episodes of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan.

Really pretty good show.:clap2:

And saw the good parts of two FIFA Women's World Cup games. The Championship game seats are probably all sold out by now. I checked them last night and they only had a few left.

Some parts of the Villages have a lot of block parties and not for NOTHING. We used to have every other month neighbor get togethers but the Parkland shooting affecting one of the homes in our tight knit group of houses kind of dampened that bi-monthly outing. They moved and a nice couple moved in but NOTHING is the same really after having known this group of people since 2005 or so. Give or take a year for most of us. A lost grand daughter can have quite a deep effect even on close neighbors.

Heck, I did the laundry and mowed the lawn today. What else could you ask for? lol

NOTHING but Happy Father's Day to all the Fathers out there. I had really wanted to be one but got stuck in quicksand so to speak. Some of it was of my own making but most was not. I do have a lot of nieces and nephews though. All through my late younger brother.

Thanks, Tal, for keeping things going on NOTHING. Been very busy around here for us today. Kind of forgot it was Father's Day until after I was up for awhile today so we ended up with unexpected company and sometimes that happens at the most inappropriate times.....don't ask.

Anyway, hope everyone had a Happy Father's Day especially our Father of the Year, the infamous Nuckster. Hate to even ask what the K-man is up to today with the wife away, considering he hasn't checked in.....uh oh....lol

I like the warm weather but the 110 to 120 of Phoenix in the summer was NOTHING but a little too hot. Then again few people went out in the hottest part of the day.

Doctor's appointment today with a new gyn. Finally a visit that did not result in tests, etc. and follow up appointment. Nothing but a pleasure to hear --"everything looks good, see you next year!. Wish tomorrow's appointment with the oncologist would be the same but not so optimistic.

But every day is a beautiful day whether rain, snow, sleet or hail. Ok, maybe not the snow, sleet and hail parts. LOL.

I do not miss the snow, sleet nor hail all that much but do long to see a mountain again. Have seen NOTHING but flat FL; the hills around El Paso, TX; and the DC area since 1996 or so. No decent mountains since 1994 and 1995.

Yes, mountains are great. I spent a lot of time both in the Catskills and the Adirondacks in NY State. Although I love the warmer weather, I did love and prefer the beauty of the Forests over the blandness of the beaches.

There was a dog that use to come to the dog park named Poco. He was named after the Poconos. And not for NOTHING.

I spent a year in Denver and saw a lot of mountains. Drove various people up in them like a guy from the University of Mosul in Iraq. He was one of the other librarianship graduate students at the University of Denver. Never did find out what happened to this friend from the past as he got radicalized in the mid to late 1980s but still seemed to be working at the U of Mosul Library. That was pretty much leveled when ISIL had Mosul.


And there were NOTHING but mountains all around Reno, Nevada.
