Good morning! I'm barely up, but like to see you before you take off in the morning. Actually hubby is headed out the door too to do a demolition job today. Must be a big one, there's going to be 9 guys there.

I can thank hubby for that, he is the early bird. I used to tell people I married the energizer bunny. He is up early and busy for the day. He has worked hard all his life and still has the muscles to prove it, not the kind you get from going to the gym, NOTHING but a rock he is.

Haha.....funny how our posts coincided, both mentioning our husbands. NOTHING but women supporting the men in their lives, even the one who is a NOTHING. :)

Well here I am, the Anti-Rock. NOTHING but baby fat from being behind a desk my whole life and truck driving which was what I really wanted to do. Being the boss, a glorified baby sitter was ok in a way but it took the hustle out of me. I was mentally drained from taking on everyone’s problems. I was their Abogado, lawyer & advisor. Next life, I wanna be a Starter on the Golf Course and stay fit from day one. Those guys from countries I never heard of were very good people and my honor to be with them.

You are NOTHING but lucky, or is that just NOTHING luck. At least having multiple NOTHING wives is legal. :1rotfl:

Well he is the reason I am up so early. I used to be a late sleeper before I met him but it has been rise and shine ever since. I am NOTHING but excited now to see my grandson tonight and will spend the day getting things ready.

Exciting day for both of us! In my next life I want to be a weather person and get paid even for being wrong. I had to NOTHING but sit for hours on end also and my back reminds me daily.

Saying goodbye to our little NOTHING’S went well. They are really like NOTHING else. The little one Stella said Poppa I want you to smile, be a happy pappy and have the best day ever. Then she said be careful of the pinheads on the road. Her parents were wondering where she got Pinhead from? I only had seven weeks to straighten her out, I almost slipped with the big word one day but divine intervention turned it into Pinhead. Love that kid. We are rolling, carefully, no hurry. NOTHING like a desk job to wreak havoc with your back. After his first 10-15 years of standing at his job all day my husband was promoted to a desk job for the next 15 or so. He loved what he did but it was a killer for someone who had a bad back to begin with. If not for his determination to continue going to the gym even after a 10-12 hour day, he probably would be crippled today. Of course, those kind of hours wreaked some havoc on the homelife. Monday through Friday I pretty much felt like a single parent. On top of that if I was working the weekends we hardly saw one another. Sometimes we both look back and wonder how we kept it together and today being home so much together we're amazed we don't kill each other - lol. I guess that's how we both tolerated our recent 3 weeks away from each other. Writing this makes me realize how blessed we've been to have such a strong relationship after all we've been through over the years.

Boy, am I glad I got my NOTHING in at the beginning or I probably would have forgotten it again. :ohdear:

What an adorable story. It does NOTHING but warm my heart. By the stories you have occasionally told about your grandchildren, despite how nerve wracking it has been for you at times, it is easy to see what a wonderful grandfather you are and how close you are to their little hearts. Can't wait to hear more stories once you are settled and have time to reflect back on your recent "project" days.
