There's a 1940s Singer selling her Sewing Machine in the Classifieds. Do you think it's one of the Andrew Sisters? If it is I'll bet you double or nothing that's worth a lot of money.

Good catch on your part though, tomwed, linking one to the other. I guess in The Villages, you just never know who might be there. |
I am exhausted already! We are all doing a little bit of NOTHING for a little rest. Everyone has heard of Christmas in July but we had hide the Easter Eggs in August. So much fun though! Disney tomorrow...

Speaking of bets though, I've been thinking about this but I don't think I posted it yet.
My idea was to propose a cross-threading bet - Three Word Sentences versus NOTHING. The bet would be which group would fulfill their obligation to their respective bet first. Any thoughts from anyone on this? I bet Nucky will have some - uh oh, another bet. |

Maybe you don't see the ad in the list of threads. The ad reads 1940's Singer Sewing Machine for Sale. it's too corny |

You'll learn as the others have before you, I'm not too quick. Some people get great pleasure out of that but I never mind. It's been the story of my life. Actually, I'm pretty good at figuring things out much later like around 2 o'clock in the morning. I wake up and say, "oh, that's what he meant!"......like I said, a little slow. Duh.....fw, got it. I'm just so gullible, I thought it was for real. :ohdear: |
What's even worse, I just burnt the top of the lasagna that I spent half the day making.......all over NOTHING. Lucky for me I wasn't making it for company and my guys will eat just about anything.

I can just see K coming back tonight reading all of this, shaking his head, and saying...."Abby, Abby, Abby" :ohdear: Well, at least you can't say I don't know how to make something out of NOTHING. It's one of my many talents.....:1rotfl: |
Hope you guys didn't think I meant YOU got pleasure out of picking on me. I meant NOTHING like that, just so you know.

And NOTHING to it is right. I shouldn't have even had to "put my thinking cap on" for that one. Where did that expression come from anyway? Wasn't that from a kid's show back in the day? |
