You are one funny person DeanFL, I don't think I could take reading that many replies. Good Job! What was you favorite post and who had the most Violations? :)

Well well, only 9 months until Christmas as of today. In case anybody wants to me anything this year, I am signed up down at the local Publix gift registry. I would like some bread, cheese, meat, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, etc...

I really don’t need nothing, but that is what I am signed up for...

Sign me,

My roommate from the U of Denver Grad School in 1983-1984 lives near the Seattle area. He is a librarian up in that area. The library system he works at comes on my Facebook page quite often. And not for NOTHING.

There were four of us in that graduate student apartment. All of us were getting MAs in librarianship. There were a lot more women in that school though. My graduating class had four women and me. This was for May of 1984.

I'm sure he's sitting at home doing NOTHING. Seattle shut down a week or so before the entire state did.

Unfortunately people just aren't following guidelines for what ever reason. Still lots of people out and about. I'd hate to think it'll take the National Guard to get people to stay home..

I had the bestest day yesterday because NOVA came and changed our filter. Holy Mackerel Andy. Was the water over the last year dirty. They really are great people to deal with. NOTHING but good to say about something good about sumfin! I mentioned Fin which triggered a Blue Fin Attack. I like it! But alas I gotta Wait It Out!

There are still groups of people meeting here in the Villages. There was a circle of golf carts in one of the Villages' Recreational Center's parking lot and they had drinks of some kind it looked like. But they did seem to have six feet between some of the people. And not for NOTHING.

Been thinking about my fellow U of Denver Graduate School of Librarianship alumni. Found one on Facebook in the Los Angeles area. We were friends who went out to movies and the like. She was very serious about the guy she went to college with at UC Santa Cruz. Another woman also had a thing with a man who lived in Germany but I saw a few years ago that she was at the Library of Congress and still might be.

I might have talked with these two ladies and others about my experiences in Reno, Nevada but only some of these matters.

Facebook sure is interesting as it allows you to make connections with people from every part of your life. And not for NOTHING.

Most of the students at the graduate library school were females. Many teachers who wanted to get a MA so that their income went up in their school districts. And then they could fill other roles.

Strung out some clothesline yesterday and we are now washing our toilet paper and hanging it out to dry in the backyard...

Hope nobody complains, because from a TP standpoint, we got nothing anymore.

Maine Observer: Living without toilet paper is nothing new - Portland Press Herald

NOTHING new.

I would suggest The Villages Phone Book! But you would not be able to flush it. That would make some very smelly trash.

Yesterday I decided I needed a new chainsaw/pole saw to more easily reach the taller branches around our property.

We're under a state lockdown and are supposed to keep our six foot spacing.. This is where the internet has made things so easy and so much safer. I ordered and paid online from a local retailer. No credit card or cash to change hands. No hoping the people in line kept their distance. I then drove to the store to their pickup area and showed my receipt through my window and the warehouse guy placed the items in the back of my truck and secured them. Instead of having me sign that I received the items he simply took a picture of the items in the back of my truck.

In the off chance he had cooties on his hands I'll let the stuff sit in the truck overnight and burn the boxes tomorrow.. lol

NOTHING could have been easier. :coolsmiley:

Hang in there. This too will .... Well, pass is a wrong word. But maybe go away in time.

My older brother wrote a book about a virus that is stuck in some mammoth tusk that gets dug up in Nome, Alaska. Gets unearthed because of melting of the permafrost. And then wrecks havoc on the world. He was working on the book for years and got it published last year.

NOTHING but odd.

Many of the students at the U of Denver in the librarianship program were from Alaska. The Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education | would pay for much of their tuition if they promised to come back and work in Alaska for a stipend grant. I did the same thing with the State of Nevada but they forgave my stipend grant for work I did in CA, FL, MN and IL because it had an affect on the libraries in Nevada. I did have to send them a lot of stuff though to prove my case. The voted for that action in September of 2000. The U of Denver is a rather expensive private school. Denver was beautiful though.

Washington had a good graduate program in librarianship though I believe at the U of Washington. Library Science Master's - MLIS | Information School | University of Washington

Yes, that is English. Sort of. This is the Yorkshireman’s motto and translates as follows: “Hear all, see all, say nothing. Eat all, drink all, pay nothing. And if you ever do anything for nothing—always do it for yourself.” It doesn’t reflect too kindly, does it?
There is a lot of NOTHINGs in Number #8. :clap2::a040:
