Anyway, it's Saturday, September 15th, and I slept great last night! I'm going to try to fit in some more housecleaning and fitness today to see if that's the magic pill I need to continued good sleep. Also trying to figure out a formula to keep from getting sluggish and depressed through the upcoming winter months. I thought last winter was going to do me in. It took forever to bounce back from that harsh winter. Not for NOTHING, but not looking for a repeat. Can't control mother nature, but I can try to take some steps to work around her in an attempt to save myself.

Off to breakfast with a friend. I'll see you all a little later this morning.

SAD was a real problem for me in the winter. My body just wanted to hibernate like a bear. The stress from work was also NOTHING but a killer. I tell people that retiring and moving here was like dying and going to heaven without the dying part.

It is NOTHING but a strange thing for a full night sleep but it happened last night. All the way through no getting up for NUTTIN. It is without a doubt the melatonin I started taking again a week ago.

The alligator wrestling poops me out also Mrs. FW.

I won't say that the winters here depress me but they sure can be a nagging pain on a good attitude. lol
NOTHING but sunshine this morning but rain this afternoon to welcome Mrs. K and MIL home..

I'm glad you found something that works. NOTHING worse than spending your day tired.

After breakfast, my friend and I walked out to see blue skies and the sun out. What a pleasant surprise! Haven't seen that in weeks which is really unusual around here. I was used to that growing up in the mountains but the people here get depressed after just 2 days of no sun.

It's not the norm to let the weather get me down, but this past winter did a number on me, probably because it dragged my husband down too. But he's ready for another one with all the wood stacked up. NOTHING will please me more the day we kiss that woodpile good-bye!

Maybe it's because you got the car dilemma settled, now you're more settled. Speaking of that, on my way home I pulled up beside a new Sonata at a red light. NOTHING but a nice looking ride you got there.

We went out for NOTHING but an Iced Coffee and a ride last night and took the van. I'm 15,000 miles under the allowance on the mileage and don't want to get those nasty Love Bugs on the new car.

Mrs. Nucky talked me into handing the Van back in early. we have a double driveway and a carport and a Golf cart Garage and it's a little tight with two cars.

The Hyundai dealer made me a great offer on the Van at the last moment but Ford makes me buy it and pay the tax and probably license it before I could trade it in. Takes the profit motive out of the deal.

Thanks for the compliment Mrs. Abby, finally a more than reasonable car that feels like a lot more than a cheapskate car!

Can you believe it I was 150 miles over on the Ford Escape I turned in in 2015 and got a bill for $30? This one is 15,000 miles under and no consideration at all. This after being true blue to Ford for close to 30 years. Feeling guilty about the other than American Car thing is leaving me slowly. I still try to buy mostly American. :bigbow:

Here's my confession - I haven't bought an "American car" since 1978. Bought Japanese in 1983 and never went back. Although probably most of the cars in my driveway now were made in America at this point anyway so I don't feel too guilty about it. And my pocketbook is NOTHING but thankful.

I wonder if Mr K is NOTHING but scurrying around the house cleaning up before the Mrs and MIL get there. Are you going to have dinner ready for them when they get there, K? Go ahead, you can tell me - I'll try not to be too jealous. :icon_wink:

OMG - too funny!!

To tell you the truth, I NOTHING but sweat more doing housework than when I exercise and at least I can see some immediate results. Taking a break now from my 2 hour floor scrubbing extravaganza.
