We were NOTHING but tied up today giving a beautiful friend of ours a hand thru a medical situation. Patience is one of the best things that descended on me since I have started living here, I'm grateful trust me. This poor person is dealing with the starting to get the bad stage of Parkinson's. Mrs. Nuckster already has patience, I'm not sure how she got them??

What a great guy this friend is, prayers for him if you can, please. A true old style manly man. Sort of looked at him as a father figure. Our hearts are bleeding for him but we talked about this day coming!

Nucky, you know I'll be praying. You and your wife are remarkable people. So wonderful to give of yourselves as you do to others in need. NOTHING better in this world than friends like you.

I have had dog park friends with Parkinson's. That is a hard disease to deal with. NOTHING to laugh at in any way.

My wife loves those Atomic cars but they are a little tight in the hips for me. We'll NOTHING but see what the next cart will be if there is a next one. I have a Gas, Carburetor Yamagucci that should last me several lifetimes. You never know things happen in a snap around here nowadays. :1rotfl:

Will contact the fun :1rotfl: Nothing tomorrow for sure.

Can we NOTHING but talk before I go to bed? I'm just making an observation not stirring the pot in any way. What do you think the reason is that no one offered help to the Veteran at the pool that was getting a ration of heat from a couple pinheads yet someone had a problem with a breaker and some really fine people offered to go over and fix up the problem for free and right away also?

Am I being too critical? I'm open-minded to everybody's outlook on this. Its really been on my mind. My skills that are temporarily sleeping would be useful in a situation like the at the pool. The Vet with no help vs the broken breaker caper of 2018??? FBI investigation? Do you know what FBI stands for?

Because fixing an electrical problem doesn't require confrontation. Standing up to a bully takes NOTHING but courage.

These 2 posts show why I love you guys - in a brotherly way, of course, as fellow human beings on this earth. What a beautiful exchange to wake up to this morning.

Nucky's questions/concerns show a person with a heart of gold whose priorities are so spot on. K's response is well, typical K - concise, intelligent, and NOTHING but true.

That thread about the disabled veteran gives me the same uneasy feeling every time I see it pop up. It seems so much easier to not get involved, to walk away, and as a result avoid confrontation. If confronted with a situation like that I hope I would take a moment to call on God to have the courage to do something because I'm not sure I would have it in me otherwise. Although sometimes you never know. Sometimes the righteous indignation stirs within and I know I can't just walk away even if it means not necessarily confronting the offender but instead taking the time to offer a word of encouragement and support to the person who was attacked.

Anyway, you guy's exchange really touches my heart this morning, represents so well who you both really are, and makes me proud to call you NOTHING brothers, if NOTHING else. I'm glad you were still online, K, to address Nucky's concern. You often seem to be in the right place at the right time around here and as a result we're all blessed. :)

Did the veteran say there were other people there? When my grandson was here and we went to the pool we were the only ones there. Maybe just him and these NOTHING heads.

My mother had Parkinson's. It is NOTHING but a horrible disease. In addition to the ravages of her body it also affected her mind. She had horrible scary hallucinations. Everyone has to die but I pray to God it is not from that.

That may be true, but I'm glad that Nucky brought it up to reflect upon. It makes anyone who might read his post consider what one might do if presented with a similar situation. NOTHING like being prepared with a response to situations like this.

Not for NOTHING but I think have a heated and air conditioned golf cart sort of defeats the purpose of having a golf cart.

 Big hello to our NOTHING bro.

Well maybe not the happiest Friday afterall. The Warden just texted me and told me to go get a flu shot today. NOTHING like getting poked with a needle to start your weekend..
