Back in the Summer of 2020 my mother had to go to a few doctors and I was kind of surprised with how some medical care people were re-acting to me. The final and strongest odd thing is that after we came into the various doctors' office some of staff stood in the doorways while we went past to get to where my Mom was going to have some surgery done. I thought maybe all the work I have done since 1991 on pushing for better materials for victims and survivors of crimes accessible in or through libraries had paid off in some way. I was pretty sure it had had an impact but did not know that, perhaps, it had had some here in the Villages.
