I knew we had a warning yesterday but not too concerned, aware but I'm a Floridian now and these things happened.

When we first came down we wanted a CYV and still do, Concreto & at least a 2 car garage bumped out if possible and a corner lot but the lot is not an absolute requirement. Until then our Manufactured Home is exciting when we hear bad weather and or tornadoes are on the menu. I would stay here until the end because it is perfect except for opening the door to let the dog out. I can't wait to get another Mutt!

I'm grateful just to be here on any basis. I looked at The Villages Real Estate and Realtor.com the other day. Quite a difference from when we arrived. Prices have increased substantially. :clap2:

I hear you guys about the home prices down there. That's one of the reasons why we bought our small place over 4 years ago. We figured this would happen and wanted to build some equity if NOTHING else.

We were going to do that but went back home and thought about it and decided to just do the move. My husband knew this was where I wanted to be and supporting 2 homes just seemed NOTHING but silly since our home up north was so expensive to keep. I started looking at larger villas and eventually found this one which is perfect for us.

Many of my friends who I wouldn't trade for NOTHING told us if you move to Fenney then you'll never see us again. B.S. to the blasting worked at a quarry, it's a bigga B.S. Triple B.S. to the Prison Problemo. It's beautiful down there but I'm going to either stay on the Hysterical Side or one of the Spanish Named Villages or up in the Northern end which is BEAUTIFUL. This is what we like. Driving to LSL is a treat in the Golf Cart.

We're due for one of those wandering around aimlessly nights in the Golf Cart, it's priceless and entertaining.

We saw a 2 br/2ba Patio Villa on sale in one of the newer hoods down near Brownwood and by the time we got down there in about an hour after we found out about it we found out we were too late. This joint is amazing. It was a wreck and needed everything because renters mauled the place. Just my cup of tea.

Lots of people say being near the square is not necessary and that you eventually get tired of going there but we are going on year 3 and still enjoy going to LSL several times a week. We also occasionally go to Spanish Springs and Brownwood. We are midway between them so it is NOTHING but a great golf cart ride whichever way we go.

Before the BiPap machine when I was having a hard time sleeping we would go for a Cart ride to Brownwood and hang out for a little bit and hope NOTHING ate the bread I dropped to mark our way back home. This is when we was da new kids and the GPS thingy wasn't working to good. Man oh man would I sleep like a big baby with all that fresh air slapping me all day. Just great.

The floss got most of the bugs out of my toffies. :1rotfl: Now is NOTHING but the time of the year for a ride like that so my leg doesn't get blasted by the Florida Sun. I have a question that begs to be answered. I just got in from a long day at work. Afterward I was taken out to dinner by the big boss. I just drove an hour home from there. And on top of it all, I didn't sleep very well last night. Needless to say I'm whipped, but here I am posting on NOTHING.

Here's the question - where the heck is the Kommander? Just because I took some time off is he now on strike? What gives? NOTHING minds want to know.......

Yeah, right, you NOTHING but do that to me all the time, sneaking up on me like that.

I did take a little nap. But spent most of the morning having a fight with a bathroom fan. The fans that were installed in the house have a 3" exhaust. The newer fans seem to have 4". So instead of an easy swap out I had to crawl up into the attic so I could put an adapter on so it would fit the existing duct work. NOTHING but a pain in the buttski..

I can't wait to hear your and Mrs K's reaction once you visit The Villages. It's NOTHING but fun to see it through someone else's eyes and get their perspective.
