Been reading Stephen King's short book Elevation which has part of its plot about two lesbian restaurant owners and their dogs which sometimes poop on the hero's lawn. Another dog poop thread I hope not even on NOTHING. I really like page 6.

I am fine guys, just having too much fun for NOTHING visiting with my very best and longest known friend. I will be back later.

I do not have anyone like that unfortunately. There was that woman on Facebook that I declined to go to the Junior Prom with mainly because she threatened to sick her quite big dog on me if I did not steal a kiss while she was on her bed and her father was right outside the door. Both had a nose like Jimmy Durante-- father and daughter. This woman was my first contact when I started posting on the Facebook You Grew Up in Reno, Nevada in the 1960s and 1970s. Have made contact with many others since then though even the ex-wife of my best friend in college. The friend does not like the internet nor, of course, Facebook and not for NOTHING.

Best friend in college was stabbed multiple times in chest area when trying to pick up married woman in bar. Jury found for the defendant in that case and against friend. He was still chasing married women the last time I met him. Had one in his house when I went to check up on him after he had been stabbed. Or she was coming into his house when I was politely asked to get the hell out of there. He had been dead for a few minutes and brought back and lost his ability to speak Spanish among other stuff.

Best friend in graduate library school in Denver was a cataloger from the University of Mosul Library in Iraq. This was in 1983-1984. Friendship soured as he was radicalized after he went back to Iraq. We exchanged letters but it got ugly soon after he left the US .

NOTHING happens everyday. And usually lots of it.. lol

Even I would agree that time spent with friends is better than NOTHING..

You and me both. Well I wasn't crying but I was unnerved watching and waiting to see how they were going to tackle that subject. Then it all turned out to be pretty much NOTHING anyway. Although I will miss that man.......:sigh:
