Betcha it's pink eye. (Conjunctivitis) Extremely contagious but quickly treated with prescribed ophthalmic ointment. Nothing to ignore, but fixable. I have had it twice in the last ten years. Get better soon.

K, nice to see you had some late night company last night for a change. Usually you are all by your lonesome. And Boomer, thanks for the cool history lesson. It is a pleasure to have you here. Leave it to our Kommander to spot your Soaring Parsley. That man doesn't miss a trick so make sure you never forget your NOTHING - lol.

Also, it was wonderful to see BK001 join in yesterday and :welcome: again to our new NOTHING poster, mainlander.

Fw, please keep us posted today about your situation. Some antibiotic drops should clear that up quite quickly. Let's  that is so.

Nucky, I'm afraid you got some 'splainin' to do. I don't want to have to start calling you Godfather. :1rotfl:

Today is Tuesday, November 13th, and I'm headed out the door early this morning. See you all later for hopefully another active day on NOTHING.......

I used to drive around Lake Tahoe rather often. Quite a beautiful drive when you drive all the way around it.

I just remembered to not forget :) to thank you for the compliment, Tal. Coming from you regarding movies that is NOTHING but a high honor. :mademyday:

Oh my goodness, Kenswing. That is a long story.

This nothing bunch would have loved the early, very early days of TOTV.

Mr. Tony owned and monitored the site. He was a retired newspaper editor and had a good handle on things. He was also a lot of fun. We had kind of a running routine.

One day, the admins added those extra little titles to our pages, based on our number of posts. I wrote a post about how I thought the titles were silly and why I thought so. (All in good fun.)

Some of those little titles had something to do with eagles — there was “Soaring Eagle” and “Golden Eagle” all on a theme. But then there was one that said “Sage.” (Did not exactly go with eagles now did it.)

— — and yes, I admit, I mocked the titles. Eagles? Sage?

And then, one day, Mr. Tony, behind the curtain, must have said, “Abracadabra.” Combining the eagles with the herb, he turned me into “Soaring Parsley” and here I am, still. (He also turned another member, who was a lot of fun, into “Dancing Thyme.”) — I don’t think anybody was turned into “Rosemary” though.

You, sir, are the first one to ask about that. Nothing different about my page was ever noticed, until you spotted it with your “Eagle Eye.” :)

(It goes way, way back. The site was sold a few years after that.)

Miss talking to Dancing Thyme. She only comes on here infrequently. And never on NOTHING. She is Mel Brook's niece but never takes herself seriously. MEL BROOKS AND ANNE BANCROFT PERFORM SWEET GEORGIA BROWN - YouTube

Chicken pot pies come up a lot in John Stanford's new Virgil Flowers book Holy Ghost. That is because there is almost NOTHING good to eat in the town his criminal case comes up in rural Minnesota. The town's major's Mom owns the only restaurant in town and they serve awful food.

That is NOTHING but the wrong question! The NOTHING question of the day is what can you do to help us in our make-believe adventure?

Any suggestions about which department each NOTHING should be positioned in? I already have the Muscle lined up. You may remember him when I reveal who it is. Everybody will love the choice. It's Not Vito & Rocco. :clap2:

OK so not conjunctivitis. Severe allergies and corneal abrasion from rubbing. I have drops, antihistamines and steroids to get it all under control. I should feel NOTHING but good as new in a few days.

Kenswing 11-13-2018 10:57 AM

fw, how are the eyes this morning? Hopefully the doc was able to get the redness back down to NOTHING..
