Unwrapped the various presents and everyone gave everyone else a copy of John Grisham's The Reckoning. This happened last year as well and I still have not read that Grisham book. I am a Grisham fan but often am into other authors' books that come out.

Kind of glad that the woman I have been chasing this year got away as we would have four The Reckonings in the house but it would have been nice to have her presence around. Did send her a nice and funny Christmas card :). I asked her to look at NOTHING too but she may have better things to do. She is not a big computer person. Would like to see her on NOTHING though.

Doing a little cross threading on this NOTHING thread as it is Jimmy Buffett's birthday today (12-25) and there are many Parrot Heads in the Villages. I have met a few dozen of these over the years. And donated whole blood at a few of their local blood drives.

It is also the BD of Rod Sterling and Humphrey Bogart among others.

After the 4 day extravaganza my husband went through prepping and carrying out that Christmas event, he can't even get off the couch today. I'm not sure why he even got out of bed today. Can't say as I blame him though. I was the one who went to work on those days, but I'm positive he worked a lot harder than I did.

It's the NOTHING thought that counts, right? :ohdear:
