NOTHING but good to hear. Mr Abby is resting comfortably with no middle of the night wake up pain so hopefully this too has passed - be it literally or figuratively. He has been suffering with sacroiliac joint dysfunction for almost a year now so who knows if the pain may even be related to that. We're trying to get him into PT to try to correct it, but it's the usual healthcare fiasco. The doctor wants him to see someone who specializes in it and we found someone, but of course that will require additional authorization by the doctor to see him. In the meantime, we have to make sure no one in network is available. We're actually hoping he ends up having to go to the first place we found though because it is managed by a very good friend of ours who we really trust and will expedite his eval and treatment. I would just like to see him be able to walk again......he's getting so frustrated.

Anyway, today is Friday, January 25th. A new day and hopefully one with more NOTHING and less something going on.

If we could only go back 50 yrs and see how much we were damaging our bodies by doing some of the stupid stuff we did. I love the old saying "We grow too soon old and too late smart"
NOTHING but the truth there.

Of course some of it is just the growing old too soon part. :(

I really never thought I'd make it this long. They said NOTHING but quit Smoking, get away from me I said. They said NOTHING but quit Drinking, get away from me I said. Can't you guys see I'm busy trying to make a living so we can live the Lifestyle of the Rich And Famous? Oh yeah, lose some tonnage big boy, get away from me before I barbeque you. LOL, Just a joke. I didn't listen to those who loved me. Shame on me. No tears just go on from here!

When all the dust settled here we are dealing with medical issues. The good thing in my experience Abby is that the Primary Doctors down here are Primo. Once you get sent to a Specialist it's Pot Luck, spin the wheel of chance, maybe a Hero maybe a Zero. I have a long list of Doctors to pick from. You have to work with UHC and things always work out.

I made an appointment with an Orthopedist yesterday and the best I could get for a Doctor that isn't considered a Vet was mid-February. This is part of the deal down here. I could travel if I want but the issue is just a nuisance not a Red Alert. I love the idea of local Doctors :super: and do respect them greatly.

I hope he's able to see the doctor he wants. NOTHING worse than constant pain.

Got NOTHING to add to that except getting appointments here are about the same way. Need to go to the optometrist, Feb 19th. Need to go to the dentist. Made appt. last week for Feb 7th. At least we have a good urgent care close by.

It's gotta be close to a month since we saw that little Cherub and we for today only are officially Un Jacked up! Thank's K-man for the laugh.

Glad NOTHING but goodly stuff from you all out yonder!

I'm going out to help a friend with his sprinkler settings, Ipad in hand. Confidence level at an all-time high. We shall see. Later Gators!

I NOTHING but agree. In fact, in hearing you and Nucky's appt dates, I think it's even worse here. The only way or reason we get fast appts is because we have connections and we don't use them unless it's really serious. Otherwise, you're talking months, many months, to get an appt with a specialist.

You're a good man, Nucky. NOTHING more fulfilling in life than helping another person in need. After while, crocodile!

Sitting still is NOTHING but torture for Mrs. K. She's not allowed to lift anything for two weeks then is on a 10lb limit for 4 weeks after that. At least she can walk.. lol

That would be NOTHING but a dream for me. I love to sit and read or do puzzles. It is a good sign though if that is what is bothering her. :icon_wink:

Momma needs a chance to feel better. Here's to good health for all for the rest of the year. Both friend and foe. :boxing2:

We fixed the sprinkler system and I fit in a trip to the pool. It was 72 going in and 62 when I came out. Oh, baby. I needed to go, it's been a while. I must have dropped something at the pool. I heard something go clink. Came home with only one nippy! I hate when that happens.

I guess I'm in between the 2 extremes. I wouldn't get restless as quickly as Mrs K. I could tolerate a day or 2 just to read or do puzzles or play phone guitar - lol. That was the new fun thing my husband showed me today. But after about 2 days, I'd be going nuts. My husband on the other hand cranked out all day yesterday because he couldn't do anything and announced at 6pm that he had cabin fever. :ohdear: Funny thing was when I got up this morning he was all happy and looked so much better so I said I guess you're feeling better. Apparently he found a new way to relieve the pain from the sacroiliac dysfunction by researching it online. It was the simplest thing and what made him mad was that not one doctor he saw mentioned it. He heard it from a holistic doctor on you-tube and it works. So he has been NOTHING but off and running all day today. I hope he comes home with less energy tonight because I'm exhausted from scrubbing bathrooms, Nucky-style, all afternoon. :faint:

Glad to hear Mrs K is doing so well - that's the most important thing.

What was the fix that he discovered online? I may NOTHING but need to know if my hypochondriasis at some point includes this ailment.
