Cooler in the morning but did warm up for a while. NOTHING but a light jacket day and evening.

Ahhhhh the Poolskiawiz, Heaven on earth. We went about 3 PM while there was still a little really bone-warming sun left in certain sections of Ze Pool. Felt like a Million After Taxes for the time I was in the Pool, thought the arm was Okey Dokey but Nope. It's Baaaccckkk. The way I'm trying to look at it is it's better that the pain is there than facing some other real problem, it's not real because Web MD says its a problem. I am not going to worry till the Doctor or Nurse Marcus Abby M.D. - One Little Two Little Three Little Viagras says I'm officially Jacked Up. The appointment is on Thursday.

I just put the address in the Villages GPS and keep in mind I can see the top of the building from my carport and the damn thing sent me down 441 to 44 across to Morse then back up to the side of the Sharon Medical Building. I think it said 17 miles total for the trip when it is less than one. At least it took my mind off the pain for a moment.

K-Man, You made me think about what would happen if we ever got a foot of snow here. Can you imagine the bewilderment of some of the people who are here? We would have NOTHING But a record-setting day for the Bean Counting Chicken Sniffin Sidewinders in The NOTHING Thread. :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

I would love to go for a ride in the Golf Cart in the Snow as I am a Certified Professional Drifter In The Snow & Ice! Maybe You've seen My Movies, The Nucksters, and The Furious The Villages Drift!

I would stay home and report the news as it would really be an event to see our community play bumper cars until it all melted. :ohdear:

So back to bed in a minute. The Pool Jacked me Up sleep wise, I was knocked the hell out in my New Sale Of The Century Chair From Bargains And Treasures. I also didn't miss buying 12 cases of Aquafina for the month of February. Probably would have used NOTHING but 10 cases in February. The water thing is great, no little flueggies floating around in the tap water, it's Chrystal Clear. Good Night. :ho:

Good morning All,

I have spent nothing less than the last 3 days checking whether all/any of my current doctors are in my husband's HMO.* We didn't know that when he turned 65 (Jan 3) that we would be converted to the Humana HMO. Hah - with me in the middle of so many things. Very annoying. Pet scan scheduled for today ($1,800 out of pocket without coverage) needless to say, had to be canceled. An order for blood work now needs a referral. In fact so does my hip surgery. The change could not have happened at a worse time. Even Moffitt -- I have 5 appointments scheduled in early March and now I have to get referrals for everything. And, I'm going to have to ask a brand new primary care physician to give them all to me! He/She just better not give me a hard time.

* None of them are!

Insurance NOTHING but sucks. When my husband turned 65 one of the medications he was taking and the only one that works was no longer covered even though it is the same insurance company but a different plan.

It does suck -- but it beats the alternative of no coverage! It will all work out for us in the end. And, as my DH just reminded me when I complained about how much time it was taking, "you're retired, what else do you have to do?" LOL What can I say, "Nuttin*, honey".

So sorry you have to go through this, BK. :( I know how upset I was when my primary doctor recently left my network to partner with another group. I didn't have to change anything, just can't see her now, but I didn't think I'd have to deal with that until we moved to Florida. And unlike you, I had NOTHING going on - what a headache and at the worst possible time! Praying all works out for you. Sometimes aggravating changes in circumstances can end up in the long run working out for the better. Hope that's exactly what happens in your case! :pray:
