His reindeer are very close by. I just have trouble imagining them pulling a Mini-Cooper with all those toys in tow. Unless they carry NOTHING but Santa.

Wow, that is nothing but awesome.

I see some of these reindeer once in a while. They are often too far from the road though or maybe inside out of the heat. NOTHING but interesting with life around the Villages.

Very interesting. I never saw an armadillo before moving here and I am loving the birds and soft shell turtles and even the alligators. Nothing like the variety of wildlife here. The only thing I miss from up north are the moose.

There are probably moose somewhere around the Villages. You never know what you will find until you Google. NOTHING ventured, NOTHING gained.

Anyway, just in case, it is Saturday and I think K said he is working......really, on a Saturday? Now that's being NOTHING but ambitious about retiring ASAP. Actually I'm working today as well, but it ends up to be more like babysitting on most Saturdays than working. Fine by me, I get paid the same no matter whether I'm doing something or NOTHING, and you all know how much I prefer doing NOTHING. ;)

I see that NOTHING is off to a good start this morning..

And yep, I'm off to work, for at least a few hours anyway.

Have a great day everyone..

There are moose near the Villages but they are the two legged kind who hang out in lodges and are probably away from the wives for long amounts of time more than likely doing NOTHING but visiting, charity work and a lot of karaoke. Lodge1271/Chapter1034/SMOKE FREE -RV SITES Home

Ironically Sgt Schultz did what many other Germans did, NOTHING in the face of tyranny. Maybe the writers did this on purpose ?

Not much he could have done unless he also wanted to face the gas chamber or a wall where they shot dissenters.

Some did stand up and got more than NOTHING.

What I’m saying is the writers may have used Sgt Schultz as a way to lampoon the attitude many Germans held during the Nazi era. See NOTHING, see no evil.

So sad and depressing nothing talk. I think people do nothing because they are afraid and feel helpless. I admire those who are brave and able to do something.

Nucky 06-16-2018 05:05 PM

In a way, I understand old Schultzie. He really wanted and really cared about NOTHING. He just wanted his next meal, a little Schnapps and perhaps a little dueling Wiener Schnitzeling with Col Klinkenheimer's secretary. What was her name? No Google cheating. I See NOTHING (Just like me until Cadillac Operations). I hear NOTHING (Selective Hearing Just Like Yours Truly). I Say NOTHING. (You could rob a bank with me so to speak and I'd never tell). Maybe I'm not really Batman, Maybe I'm Schultie!

He is our NOTHING Mascot.

I had a Cadillac but had to trade it in for a golf cart. My sister thought that was nothing but funny. I still need glasses though.

As long as you promise to make sure she has water and you clean up after her.. :a20:

I agree. She's a great addition to NOTHING.

Abby10 06-16-2018 07:36 PM

Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do on here. This has been a very active thread the past 2 days while I've been working. NOTHING is becoming like a 2nd job.....lol.

So it looks like someone else thinks my house needs power washed. I pulled in the driveway after work tonight and there is a flyer laying there with an advertisement for power washing. Hubby is away for the weekend. Maybe I should have the house power washed and when he comes home say "Happy Father's Day".

And that's where the trouble will begin.....:ohdear:

fw102807 06-16-2018 07:37 PM

I think that everyone who knows me would agree that I am excellent at doing nothing...or is it good for nothing? Anyway I am happy to be here.

Take the flyer and attach it to the fridge with a magnet. That should do NOTHING but get the hubby's attention.. lol

:ohdear:

I've found a number of flyers in my driveway in the last 6 years we've been here...mostly business cards and a small rock inside a sandwich bag.

They obviously drive around tossing them out the window...hoping someone will bite.

Given the 'no solicitation' policy here and their willingness to ignore the rules, I personally will have NOTHING to do...with those types of businesses.

If there is going to be trouble and you really want to think out of the box then do NOTHING but pack up the house and leave an Airline ticket to The Villages and have him meet you down here. That says HAPPY FATHERS DAY! Oh, what a story that would be. Power Wash the Casa De Villages. Now that would either be a big winner or The front page of the other Newspaper. I'll bail you out if needed. :rant-rave:  Lemme know how it goes. :eclipsee_gold_cup:

Perfect greeting to start the day - Sunday, which is Father's Day 2018.

I would also like to include men who may not be fathers in the usual sense, but who step in to act as one for those who have no father in their lives for whatever reason or assist other fathers in the responsibility of rearing their children. It could be an uncle, a neighbor, or a family friend, or even in the sense of a big brother program or a ministry of sorts. We honor all of you men who strive to be a good example for children and young people to live by.

Honoring father's and being a father are definitely not NOTHING.

Nucky 06-17-2018 09:13 AM

I still suffer from PTSD from having to work for 43 years. Any work is worse than NOTHING. If I had to do it again I’d choose very wealthy old money parents with a penchant to spoil their children endlessly.

Does anyone wish to do NOTHING but the correct thing and admit to the issue we are facing on the island with Mary Ann? She said just yesterday via text message that there was more than one man around about the time of fertilization? Will we have to see who the baby look like? DNA test perhaps?

It is far better to do nothing for the right reasons than to do something for the wrong reasons. I am sure you have been a blessing to people in other ways.
