We went on NOTHING but a bus trip to see The Elf. It was at the Show Place Dinner Theatre in Hudson Fl. A trip where you buy the tickets at A.A. Sorry I meant AAA and go on a beautiful Workmans Bus.

I have not experienced anything like that before but thought it was the greatest. We enjoyed it and the Bus Driver was Perfect. Didn't scare me once, a miracle.

Thanks for letting us know about the dinner theatre in Hudson Florida.
I didn't even know where Hudson was until I looked at a map.
Great you had a good bus driver.
I know you're NOTHING but easily scared.

NOTHING but good to see GE back on Talk of the Villages.

Got some stuff from one of the Beef O'Brady's here in the Villages and it was cooked just right. Two baskets-- one of Fish and Chips and the other of Chicken Tenders. Beau really likes chicken so he got some of it and not for NOTHING.

Made 30 gallons this afternoon at One Blood here in the Villages' area and watched two more N.C.I.S. episodes. There was a very happy camper there who was finishing up donating platelets and he had earned a 48 gallons sticker.

Still on Season Seven of N.C.I.S..

I had driven up to one of these Pasco County libraries for a job interview and it could have been in Hudson. Not sure and not for NOTHING.

I was in Pasco County every so often. Gulf View Square ::: Port Richey ::: FL

Tal,

Big congrats on the 30 mark...

When I get in better shape here, I am going to be contacting you about this. I donated whole blood, platelets or plasma for years and always enjoyed it. I want start doing it again. My dream was to get a 55 gallon award and I am well on my way towards it.

Someday maybe I can get there. Ain't nothing to it, but to do it...

Oh great another Pal that's going to be NOTHING but a Quart Short!

People who do for others should be commended.

Save a little blood for yourself so this doesn't happen:

You can donate 6 gallons or so a year doing just platelets. You are allowed 24 platelet donations per year and they often take two units from me. A unit I believe is a pint or so. Some people they seem to take less from though.

Very nice people there. I have known one of the phlebotomists there since 2007 or so and not for NOTHING.

Yup.... I’m at 37 gallons. First 8 gallons were whole blood then I jumped on the Platelet train and the gallons added up quicker. I’m a fairly common A+ flavor but there is nothing better that you can donate

Cool. I donated in Belmont, CA to impress a woman named Sandy around 1985 and then did it once in Minneapolis when the Resident Assistant at Middlebrook Hall for our Graduate Level students at the U of MN suggested we donate blood. This was around 1989.

Did not donate again until in the Oldsmar/Palm Harbor area of FL at Florida Blood Services around 1997 up to 2011 or so. I house sat for a couple of retired realtors who travelled a lot. So, I often went back to Palm Harbor, FL after we moved to the Villages in 2005 to help them out. Would donate at Florida Blood Services if convenient.

Donated a few times at Life South-- the red, white and blue buses you often see at Walmarts in the Villages.

And also donated blood at Florida Blood Centers. The red and white buses around the Villages and elsewhere.

I started doing platelets after they requested my help because a baby needed AB- platelets and I had those. This was at Florida Blood Centers which merged with Florida Blood Services to become One Blood. And not for NOTHING.

So we sound like we were on the same track. I dislike needles but feel I have a duty to donate because of my rare blood type.

Default Minnesota loses. Auburn wins.

Hard to watch one of my alma maters lose--- the University of Minnesota. But that was NOTHING but a great game in which Auburn beat Alabama.

Wisconsin will have their hands full beating Ohio State University.

And the University of Nevada, Reno lost to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
