The Villages Daily Sun movie times page today for 10/14/2018 is quite interesting and not for NOTHING. First entries for Sunday at the Barnstorm are 22 Chaser playing at 10:50 AM and 1:00 PM and Black '47 at 3:00 PM and 10: 30 PM.

Maybe I will make another double feature this week. I saw Rope and then Psycho yesterday.

Been loving movies since I audited two film criticism classes taught by the Reno, Nevada Howard Rosenberg. He taught them in a movie theater in the basement of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. He was /is a Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno. Howard Rosenberg Always liked the UNR Art Department's Mail Stop #0224.

I did take a Medieval Art course from them when getting my Minor in Religious Studies and audited other courses for fun.

22 Chaser and Black '47 kind of have my attention.

Lily James - Rotten Tomatoes

She has been NOTHING but busy the past few years.

She is good in this other WWII movie as a spy. The Exception (The Kaiser's Last Kiss) (2017) - Rotten Tomatoes
Thanks, Tal, but I finally NOTHING but remembered why she looked so familiar to me. She had a role in Downton Abbey. I think she played Rosie if I'm not mistaken. But thanks for the info about her other movies. I'll have to check them out, especially the spy one.

Sorry, Tal, but I have to admit to being a little facetious with that question I gave you. It had NOTHING to do with war terminology and really NOTHING to do with the movie at all which is why I was surprised by it. Just a little humor, or shock as it provoked in me, I guess is why that line was added to the script. So all I'm going to say at this point is when you watch it again, look/listen for what I'm talking about. I think it will give you a good laugh. It did me, especially because it reminded me of an incident when hubby and I were in England that we still laugh about today. They sure have a way with words over there - lol.

So we did something we shouldn't have and we walked down the ramp in order to peer over the edge to see if we could locate our car on another level. Lo and behold, we could see it. The problem was we couldn't figure out how to get to it!! No matter what level we went to, it wasn't there. Well, probably an hour of complete hysteria later, among 4 highly educated individuals I might add, we finally managed to figure out how to get to the car. It was a Seinfeld episode played out in real life. We still talk and laugh about that today because it was so unbelievable. And we hadn't even been drinking!! Yep, completely sober. These are my New England aunt and uncle who are only 10 years older than us. We have had a few other Seinfeld-like "incidents" occur with them along the way.

Anyway, it's Sunday, October 14th, and I have to thank you, Nucky, for the fun memory! So welcome to my Seinfeld world all you NOTHINGS. I'm afraid you are now stuck in it with me.
I can think of a lot worse places to be stuck than in NOTHING.

You are right that Lily James did play a niece or something like that in Downton Abby. She was NOTHING but spoiled rotten. Scottish royalty maybe? Lily James Biography - Biography

I will have to watch the Blu-Ray Darkest Hour again soon. Have it set up for the latest Jurassic Park movie today.

I did laugh at the Victory sign with the wrong side of the hand shown and not for NOTHING. The Lily James character pointed out what that meant when you use the wrong side of your hand for the V for Victory sign.

She is not one of the various actresses I chat with on Facebook private message boards, unfortunately.

Yes, that was NOTHING but a funny scene and a touching one between the 2 of them. I'm enjoying how their relationship is developing so far. Didn't get a chance to finish watching the movie last night. Got interrupted, then ended up being too tired to finish it.......maybe today.

Been watching last night's Saturday Night Life on tape and the part about the 12-14th Constitutional Amendment was kind of funny. And not for NOTHING.

I often leave some movies unfinished and watch them the next day. Most of these I have seen already at the movie theater but there are way too many movies out each week here in the Villages as I usually only go to one or two a week.

The Alfred Hitchcock Frightfest at the Rialto has me going to more as I bought a Fright Pass for $35. It is worthwhile if I see all 8 of the Hitchcock movies playing this month. And I can see them as many times as I want.

Somehow I knew K would have to make a pit stop elsewhere before coming to NOTHING today. The OP of that thread is a funny guy and certainly has a way with words. I also enjoy the postings of 2 others on that thread. Laughing is NOTHING but good for the soul.

Yes, please, don't let us hold you back. In fact, I'm NOTHING but impressed that you come here first. Not me, my internal GPS takes me right to the coffee maker the minute my feet hit the floor in the morning.
