When I was real little I put beans up my nose. They swelled and I couldn't get them out!!I don't remember what happened after that. :dontknow:

When I was a little kid there were some interesting things that I did. One of the things that I remember the best was that I would go trick or treating, but you would think I would ask for candy right? Wrong...I would ask if i could use their vacuum cleaner. :2excited:

Even in freshman High School, we decided to be The Beatles for a while. Elyse was George, Maria was Ringo, Kathy was John and I was Paul. Sandy didn't participate because she was too busy getting pregnant! Hal-lo!

So these friendships are over 50 years and we've been through it all together.
From cutting out of lunch in grade school to swing upside down from the bars in the bathroom stalls to the Halloween egging of cars (police pulled us in and called our parents.) I was driving, Maria was shotgun, sneaking each other out of the windows of our houses to go into the city to Rush Street. All the way through marriages, divorces, pregnancies, more marriages, more divorces. (Elyse is attempting her 5th marriage!)

These wonderful girls and I just clicked from day one. Just like Nonie, Barefoot and I. And the adventures will continue with my new friends, I hope, because there's one thing I know for sure. I don't ever want to be an adult. :joke:

I told my family I was running away. I hid up in the hay in the top of the barn. Nobody seemed to care and it got dark. I got scared and climbed out of the hay and went to the house. Guess that wasn't crazy-just stupid! ;D

I also hitched everyplace I went. One man showed me his private part. I didn't ride with him anymore. :o

I was too darn good (my mother scared the c r a p outta me with her fire and brimstone talks).

OK THE craziest thing I did was get married the day after I turned 18, 2 weeks after high school graduation. Pregnant? Nope. Puppy love? Nope! Ed and I have been very very happy for 34 years this month. ;D

When I was a teenager, I used to hitchhike with a little paring knife in the pocket of my shorts for protection, although I never had to use it. It was probably dull anyway. Just one of those things I didn't tell my mother about. I forgot I ever did it until some guy reminded me at a high school reunion 40 years later. I can't believe I was ever that young and naive. ;D

Well, My best friend and I called up everyone in the phone book with the last name of Byrd, and asked them if they were flying south for the winter!!! OMG, Would you call it clever and creative? or just bored out of our minds. 1rnfl
