As an aside to this response, the above noted law firms all note in their advertisements that they are INJURY ATTORNEYS. Now maybe they might take on domestic law cases, but that is not clear from the information that they routinely present.

Jus' sayin'

I don't think returning a new vehicle is usually an option at most dealers.

In my experience, dealers will take back new vehicles but you may not be happy with the financial end of the transaction

Did you see the GMC television commercial where the guy buys his wife a red GMC and himself a black GMC for Christmas? But, she takes the black one instead. I think most people believe that the vehicles are identical except for the color. But, if you look closely, the black one is a pickup truck and the red one is an SUV. So, the guy wanted a pickup truck and ends up with an SUV. Bummer. What would you do if you were the guy? Or, the woman?

Yes, saw the commercial. Watch it again...in one clip it’s a pickup, on another a full SUV....oops.

I’d schedule her for a refraction because the truck was blue. 😜

It's a commercial folks. What do you mean she will change her mind once she parks it a few times. I used to drive a big 66 pass. School bus. Try parking one of those at the end of the day between two other buses. Backing up. I also trained people to get their CDL license. You know the most difficult people to train. Men. Most thought what does a woman know about training me to drive one of these monsters. It was fun watching them out on the road in neighborhoods with narrow streets. Light bulb came on "she knows what she's talking about" LOL. So don't say wait till she parks that big vehicle she'll want the Suv. LOL

They ran this commercial last year also. More and more, commercials make the husband look like a complete dufus.

In a case like this where your buying two vehicles and one of them is to be a gift the dealer would most likely work with you. You would buy one of the vehicles outright and put it in your name. The vehicle that is going to be a gift you would would put a down payment on and have your insurance company put a binder on it before adding it to your policy. The dealer would deliver the car with the understanding you would come in and have your wife sign the papers the next day so it will be in her name. As nothing is final if she wants to exchange it for a different vehicle there would be no problem. You would need to have excellent credit to do this and it would help immensely if you had an ongoing relationship with the dealer.

She'd probably get both trucks and the house in the settlement.

I thought they were watches but others have said they were sunglasses, so I could be wrong.
