At the top of my bucket list when I was in high school was to move someplace warm and never see snow again. It took awhile, but I finally got there in 2011. I have had other minor bucket-list items fulfilled, but this was the biggest and the best. Goodbye, snow and cold.

Well, I slipped on some frozen crusty and wet snow today, took a nasty fall, hurt both my knee replacement and the other one that needs to be replaced and my back is sore. Thanksgiving day is not supposed to get above 15 degrees and be very windy at our home up north. All golf courses are covered with ice and snow. The water is starting to freeze on outdoor pools. I have now added your high school bucket list item to my list.

I hope all of you know how lucky you are to be able to wake up everyday at the VILLAGES. We spent a few days visiting our friends and it was like a Disney world for adults. Maybe if I ever win the lotto I will be able to join you all and I will wake up everyday with a smile on my face but like the quote says "don't want what you don't have...want what you do have and I have a winter wonderland for now !

Wow, blessings upon blessings upon blessings, and an angel - so sorry about your loss. 3 sets of twins in one family -- I assume that is quite unusual?

Coach and BK. We do too. My husband and his brother.
His brother and wife had twins.
One of those twins had twins. All non identical. All treasures. Wonderful folks.

Been many places, done many things. In a very good place now, anything extra is a bonus.

I wish you a speedy recovery. Funny, Thanksgiving was the ONLY day of the year that I wanted it to be cold since I was typically cooking for the whole week for 18-20 people. I loved the dichotomy between the very hot house and the cold outside. Regardless, I wouldn't change my life now for anything.

Happy Thanksgiving and, needless to say, be careful.
