Default Answers to your questions....

You have asked for answers to your questions and I have some for you.

There seems to be controversy about planting palms in central Florida. Certainly there are some that are more hearty in this area then others. If you look around the older parts of The Villages you will find many lawns with beautiful "palm tree" landscaping that have been there for many years. They have endured the heat and the cold of central Florida.

Rock will not kill your plants! Again.... drive around The Villages and you will find many homes with wonderful landscaping grown with rocks. It's just a matter of choice. Just understand, as some people have found, you may lose your mulch with heavy rains, and it needs to be replaced more often.

Landscapers try to get rid of their "old" inventory. If the landscaper has a nursery why would he do that? The older the tree, the more it costs. Many landscapers don't have nursery and buy the plants from the nursery as they need them. If you come to our nursery you can tag the plants you want. We will bring them out to you and if you decide they won't work in your landscaping... we take them back. Your choice. OR.... if you choose not to come to our nursery, we will bring our nursery to you and can choose from those and again.... what you don't want.... we will take back to the nursery.

We don't care if you plant palms. However, most people who come to Florida want the palms in their landscaping.

Do palms bring in bugs, rats and snakes? We live in Florida.... We have all sorts of vermin here! Trees and plants will bring them to your home. If you lived up north with evergreens, you brought in the spiders and bugs as well as snakes. We have more here because it's warmer, but regardless of what you plant, you will have bugs. Sorry folks, it's a part of living in Florida.

I hope this helps... until next time.

Steve, I would be interested in your services, but I do not see anything that shows your copany is insured or bonded. I am hesitant to let anyone on my property who is not insured.

Yes, we are insured. Most landscaping companies are not, and of the few that are, they carry $600,000 insurance. We carry two million in general liability insurance. Should you choose to hire us we will be happy to show proof of that insurance.

No.... we aren't bonded. Being bonded is for the creditors. It does nothing for the homeowner. Since we pay cash for our products, there is no need to be bonded.

We look forward to doing business with you.

Good to know. It makes a difference in the final decision to hire someone.

Default More questions???

Visit us the first Friday of every month (July 6th) under the pavilion for a FREE Landscape Seminar. It will be followed by a question and answer session. We will answer ALL your questions!

We will tell you why our trees aren't tied up when we plant them, like other landscapers, and why we didn't have to right any of our palms after the storm.

We are looking forward to meeting you!
