"We recently purchased a new courtyard villa in Pinellas and decided to change the landscaping. Not being very familiar with the various plants and trees in Florida we were looking for someone knowledgeable to help guide us in making correct decisions in line with the kinds of plants etc that we wanted.

After meeting with and receiving estimates from a few well recommended landscapers we decided to go with Mansfield. They were not the cheapest or the most expensive but seemed to offer the best value for the money and were able to provide just what we wanted. Steve pretty much knew what we wanted and what would work for our site.

One of the main selling points was their well stocked nursery where we could actually view and select the exact trees and plants that were used.

The crew came on time and finished most of the job the first day. Mastro the crew foreman kept everything going smoothly and provided great input on what plants would look best and where to put them. They all did a great job and worked very hard all day long. They finished the job on the second day and Ron came by to inspect everything and to make sure that we were entirely satisfied.

It's a Sugar Palm and yes it can grow in part shade or full sun. It's hardy to as low as 15F.

"We were one of the many people in The Villages that wanted to upgrade our landscaping who had the question, "Which landscaper do you choose?". The are lots of ads and trucks constantly in the area advertising their offerings. After reviewing projects at homes that Mansfield had completed in our area, several which were on our street, and talking to our neighbors, we decided on using Mansfield. We had some basic ideas of what we wanted as far as what we liked and disliked. We worked with Ron Martin, one of the co-owners at Mansfield. He was able to pull together our ideas into a rough plan that we liked. While the work was being done, we were able to tweak the effort to our liking. Also, Steve Mansfield stopped by after the job was completed to make sure there were no problems and we were happy with the job. We are happy with the looks of our new landscaping and glad we chose Mansfield. "

Mansfield listened to what we envisioned and worked with us to create that little piece of heaven that we now call our oasis. They were friendly, professional and very knowledgable on all of the trees and plants. They met & exceeded our expectations and stayed within our budget! They worked to make us happy and we we were so glad we went with Mansfield. We had met with many landscape companies and received many estimates. Overall, Mansfield was the best for the money, quality and professional experts in the business!

well we are 95% complete and I can say this has been a positive landscaping experience. We brought in our own design,which the guys tweeked(for the better),got to choose our plants from their nursery(excellent stock),got to choose our covering(stone) and got to choose our own big rock. When they arrived the estimator was here and went over everything with us and the foreman. They brought an abundance of plants...the foreman has 25 yrs doing this and made excellent suggestions. We had 2 days of rain which slowed things a bit,but they were here working everyday. They did everything they said they would do. There focus was on doing a good job and keeping the customer happy...they achieved both of these. We are happy,happy,happy. and would recommend them. Then when done they cleaned everything up and went garden bed by bed to make sure we were satisfied.Then we got a call from the owner to make sure we were satisfied.
