Default Cost for landscape rocks in CYV?

My husband and I are considering replacing our dead grass (which the builder is removing) in the backyard of our courtyard villa with rocks. The yard is very small - does anyone have an estimate of the cost to have the rocks put down? Recommendations for landscapers? Thanks!

You might start by asking the company that does your landscape maintenance if that is a service they will do. They will give you an estimate.
If you don't yet have a company, ask your neighbors who they use.

The cost will depend on the type of rock, any bed preparation needed, underlayment and delivery charges.

If the builder is removing the grass, perhaps you can arrange to install rock through him at the same time. Ask him if it can be done and how much $$

We live in Tamarind Grove and use Tri County Landscape Services Inc.- Wildwood.

We have used KB Landscaping (352-748-4400) to put stone and plants in both our front and recently our rear beds. Their price each time was about 25-35% cheaper than the other 3 quotes and those were companies that our neighbors said were good and low priced. Both times we were very satisfied. At least call and get a pric

Rock is expensive. Go to Dirt Cheap out on 441 north of The Villages and pick out the rock you want. They have several names of people you can call to spread the rock. Laguna Lawn Services is one of the guys highly recommend at a reasonable price. Ph. 352-638-4347.
