Since we have an inside lot, our backyard isn't that big so we couldn't use any of the plants there. We did consider reusing the Fan Palm since we needed two for the front, but McGowan only charges $165 for a 30 gallon Fan Palm installed. So we decided to go with two new potted Fan Palms instead of moving the one we had, she said she couldn't guarantee it would live. The rest of the plants they discarded. Most of them I didn't like because they just didn't look that good.

The Queen Palm was $195 installed and the Sylvester was $600 installed. That is one thing about Sabrina McGowan, they give you an itemized estimate of every plant installed and a breakdown of the labor involved. Actually our job came out $600 less than she estimated since they finished a half a day early.

Looks nice, also doing biz on an itemized list is great, it lets U pick and chose what you want.

Who selected the queen them or you?

The Sylvester at $100 a ft clear trunk is very fair installed.

Many just give a flat price to easy to get the short end on those deals IMO.

Prices seem very reasonable to me. Better still is that it looks great.

I told her that for the area by the front door I wanted a Palm but to keep it around $200. We figured another Fan Palm would be crowding the sidewalk and she said the Queen has some problems with the temperatures when it drops below 19 degrees for an extended period of time, but it would fit the price and size we needed. I figured I would take my chances for $200 and if it died in the future I would just replace it.
