Default Driveway Pavers "Newsflash" is old news

Robert Fell The number of times utility repairs have needed to dig through anyone's driveway in TV is microscopic. I would worry more about the backyard, where Electric, TV and phone lines are. Even the minute number of cases where a water or sewer main, or storm drain has needed attention, they tend to be under the actual roadway. And even the few cases where they cut driveways and worked within the road frontage utility easement that exists on almost every property that borders a public road in the ENTIRE COUNTRY, I have never seen a case that needed to use the entire R/W width. The RW shows on your plot plan, and for most homes in TV, it is around 12'. Take a ride around, and look at how many people have landscaped around the tree that came on the property or the palm they replaced that tree with and you will see more homes with nice landscapes have infringed on the R/W some than haven't. Reporters sitting in on ARC meetings, and writing stories on construction issues, should do a little more investigating before trying to impact the decisions people make about their homes, and a multimillion dollar industry, during this time of economic crisis.

Thank you Bobby, at Escapes Landscaping for your honesty and your engineering background and experience with FDOT and FL utilities. We were ready to tear up our driveway because of the newsflash.
