Default "Encore" Azaleas

Anybody have any experience with this strain of azalea? They are touted to bloom 3-4 times per year.

We had them when we lived in Alabama. Ours bloomed twice a year, spring and fall. Can't say I'd want azaleas in my yard again. They are beautiful while they bloom, but they look awful for awhile after the blooms are done. I do love the ones that bloom along Buena Vista every spring.

We have them in our yard in our Oklahoma residence. They bloom 2-3 times a year. If you are used to azaleas blooming in the spring, its a little strange to see them in full bloom around Thanksgiving.

Thanks, so much for the input. I've always loved azaleas, but cannot grow them in the Hill Country of central Texas! Plan on having some in our yard in TV, however. Plan to have lots of blooming things!!
