not sure if this will help you, but i did some online research re: palms due to the 1 we currently have. every few months i go out & spread used coffee grounds maybe 1-2 feet away from base of tree. once it rains or is watered, you will see bright greenery & growth. someone said the tree likes magnesium, so every other treatment i dissolve a vitamin tablet of that (!) in the mix of grounds. our tree is full, bright & 2x the size of other neighborhood trees planted around the same time. i have yet to try any commercial fertilizers. good luck!

Coffee grounds are good, as are Epsom Salts which have lots of mangesium.

I've got 8 palms (6 sable, 1 sylvester and 1 sugar palm) and lots of smaller things on a corner lot and do my own fertilizing and it's not a big deal. If you're wanting to hire someone, I'm sure most any landscape company would be willing for the $$$$.

Hoke Smith, Greensmiths, hsmith@greensmithspestcontrol.com, (352) 303-0205. They have been doing our fertilization of palms and plants and shrubs for the last two years. You can select the service you need, don't need to take everything they do. Very satisfied on their schedules, communications and reaction to issues.

You can buy Lesco fertilizer or have it delivered to your house, then add epson salts IF you are getting yellowing of the fonds. Fertilize 3 times per year starting in November.

Been here 17 years, never fertilized anything. Everything grows like weeds. 24/7 365 days a year. Keeping them trimmed has been expensive.

NO, No, No - never fertilize in the winter! You never want new growth in case of a freeze. Fertilize - 3, 6, 9 (March, June, Sept). Buy palm fertilizer from Site One in Leesburg.

go to the dollar store and get 4 packages of Epsom Salts, take one package and spread on the base of the palm tree about 10” from the trunk, allow rain and irrigation to finish the job. I don’t have Palms now, but when I lived in Palm Beach, had several and they love Epsom Salts.

Do palm fertilization yourself. 3 times a year, March July and October put a bag of Epson salt around the base of each large palm about a foot out. Been here 19 years, my palms are green and healthy. So easy.
