Default Hibiscus

Just planted a beautiful yellow hibiscus. would like to keep it compact so it doesnt get too large and branches to thick for me to manage. Can u trim or cut them often?? Anytime of yr??

we have a yellow hibiscus in our front bed...beautiful flowers. I've trimmed it back more than a couple of times trying to keep it compact...it just doesn't seem to work

It's now over 5' tall, is 'leggy' and was planted too close to the house anyway

many of the plants that we had put in by a self described 'landscaper' just 3 years ago are so huge that we're having the whole front bed redone by a true arborist
