We've lived in TV 4 years and are quite familiar with Landscaper issues here. We moved, last month to a new home in The Village of Bonita and had a small job that needed to be done. I just want to say that used Sunscape Landscaping, after talking to 3 other companies. I can't say enough good things about them. Their price was very fair (not the cheapest, but not the most expensive) and they showed up when they said they were going to, did what they promised, and never asked for one penney until the job was totally done and he was assured we were happy...what a concept, eh? UNLIKE other companies who need a deposit up front (to be able to buy the stuff they're using at your house!!) this company is financially stable enough to not need to use your money and they only get paid when they are done and the customer is totally happy. This, in itself, says a LOT about a company!! We will definitely be using them when we do more landscaping. We highly recommend them.

I should also add that when we first moved to TV 4 years ago, we lived in Liberty Park and hired a Landscaper who totally scammed us in terms of what to plant & what he'd do. He never came back to finish the job, took money from some of our neighbors and NEVER came back, wouldn't return phone calls...I later read in The Daily Sun that he was arrested and prosecuted for fraud, but that didn't help our neighbors who lost thousands of dollars.

We had the opposite experience with Sunscape Landscaping. 1)never return calls. 2)got their money and ran. 3)Never use them for curbing. We had another contractor to view thier job for curbing and they stated it was the worse job they have ever seen. The curbing is spotting throughout the entire job, uneven lines, cracking, etc. etc.

We have given Jeff several opportunities to fix their poor workmanship but never heard or seen from them after they were paid.

Wow, I am shocked to see a problem posted about Sunscape, and sorry about the problems you had, Just like Patches, I had a great job done by Sunscape. Their price was great, they showed up when they said they would, and finished when they said they would, and did a great job with the stone walls. My neighbor called me in Jersey to tell my that Jeff had been at my house while I was away to check on all the landscaping and trim some of the palms, something I didn`t expect, and was never charged for. I think he has a great company with great employees. Jeff will always be my landscaper.

I also used Jeff and the gang. They were neat, courtious and as far as I'm concerned did a darn good job. They came back to check something for me and I didn't get billed either. No upfront monies and did as we wanted. Offered suggestions and listened to our concerns. Did my lanscaping, curbing and rock ground cover.I've recomended him to several people and I haven't heard any complaints.

Had a problem with the mix and color on this job. Not known why. E-mailed customer back yesterday and told them it would be all replaced next week.

WOW...I'm shocked!! We were planning on using them for additional landscaping in the Spring. Hopefully, he'll read this and make things right with you. He monitors this so keep me posted.

We just used Jeff two months ago to do our entire property, and me and wife can not say enough about him and them. I recommend them 110%. Quality, clean-up, type and quality of trees, etc. First rate in our book.
Since we are still part-timers till wife can retire, I called him yesterday about the cold and if we would have any problems with what he planted. Told me we shouldn't, and he would keep a check on them for us since we are away. So also, they provide SERVICE AFTER THE SALE!!! And to me that is very important since that means they stand behind they product & service.

We used Ken's Curbing and Landscape and while the initial job looked good, I am very disappointed with the curbing discoloration and spotting. I think too much water in the mix at the time? In any case, despite assurances that it would be fixed and plants were warranted for one year, they have the worst follow up and I would not recommend them for that reason.

When we had curbing installed about a year ago we too were not happy with the dull look to them while our neighbors color looked great. Someone else suggested two coats of a sealer on the curbing. Looks much better now that the sealer has been applied.

I too am surprised about the negative post about Sunscapes. We are getting ready to use Jeff because he did such a good job on my neighbor's place. Moreover, when Jeff gave us the "free" estimate, he made it clear that there was no money upfront and you did not pay until the job was complete and you were satisfied.

I still will have Jeff do our work because:

1) I have seen his work first-hand and it is very good;
2) he doesn't require upfront money; and
3) he has the reputation of standing behind his work.

How can you complain about someone that does business this way?

I will post an update after Jeff finishes our work.

Thank you! I'm encouraged that a second coat of sealant might help the patchy coloring.
